Sources Attached: Tech & AI Explained
Sources Attached is a technology and AI podcast that explains how things really work, one topic per episode, built on the original sources. Juan Pablo walks through how large language models and chatbots work, what tokens and context windows are, how AI image generators (diffusion models) turn noise into a picture, how federated learning trains AI without seeing your data, what AI agents can do with your computer's permissions, and why AI needs so much energy. On security: how phishing works, how SPF, DKIM and DMARC fight email spoofing, and what a zero-day vulnerability is. And on the internet itself: what happens when you open a website (DNS, TCP, TLS and HTTPS) and how email was invented. Every episode is built on primary sources: official documentation, standards (RFCs), research papers and engineering blogs, all linked in the episode notes so you can check them yourself. No hype and no politics: short episodes, about eight minutes each, that stay true. For developers, students and anyone curious about artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and how the internet works.
