Who is Paul's "god of this age"?

Ask a Christian who the god of this age is, and you'll hear one answer: Satan. But Paul never writes Satan in 2 Cor 4:4. He says the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, so they won't see Christ, the image of a different God. So which god is it? Read what comes right before the verse.
