I.I.H I’M IN HERE LIVE!!

Carmel and Pooh

👀 The vision is blurry, but the tea is CRYSTAL CLEAR. Welcome to IIH – I’m In Here, where two legally blind women with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) talk about the part nobody puts in the medical pamphlet. Hosted by Pooh (@BlindButStillOutside) and Carmel (@CarmelCantSee), we’re bringing you real conversations about IIH, blindness, vision loss, brain surgeries, relationships, family, independence, accessibility, and the absolutely ridiculous situations that come with trying to live your life when you can’t see what the hell is going on. 😂 This is NOT a sad blindness podcast. We laugh. We educate. We tell the uncomfortable truth. We answer the questions people are scared to ask. And sometimes… we just cut up. Whether you have IIH, love someone who does, live with a disability, or you’re just here because the tea sounded good—you’ve got a seat at the table. We’re blind. We’re outside. And we’ve got PLENTY to say. 🎙️ IIH – I’m In Here 💙 Hosted by @BlindButStillOutside & @CarmelCantSee Life might get blurry… but don’t ever lose your vision. LET’S CUT UP! 💙💛

So... We Can't See... But I'm In Here!! Raw uncut sneak peek 👀🫣👩🏽‍🦯👩🏽‍🦯💙💛

Welcome to Episode 1! We’re two legally blind queens navigating life with IIH (Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension), and we’re so glad you’re here. In this first episode, we’re introducing ourselves, sharing how we met, and talking about the journeys that led us to legal blindness. We open up about our diagnoses, what living with IIH is really like, and how we continue to show up for ourselves, our families, and our communities despite the challenges. This podcast was created to educate, advocate, and build a space where people living with IIH, blindness, low vision, chronic illness, and disability feel seen, heard, and understood. But don’t expect this to be all serious—we’re bringing plenty of laughs, real conversations, unfiltered stories, and the kind of friendship that makes you feel like you’re sitting at the table with us. Whether you’re living with IIH, supporting someone who is, navigating vision loss, or you’re simply looking for authentic conversations with two women determined to live life fully, this podcast is for you. We’ll talk about accessibility, motherhood, relationships, independence, advocacy, dating, work, travel, assistive technology, mental health, the awkward moments nobody talks about, and all the funny stories that come with navigating a world that wasn’t designed with blindness in mind. Our mission is simple: to inspire, educate, empower, and remind people that blindness doesn’t define what’s possible—it simply changes how we experience the world. So grab your headphones, get comfortable, and come laugh, learn, and grow with us. Welcome to the family.  Be sure to follow the podcast so you never miss an episode, and connect with us on social media to continue the conversation.
