    Jephthah (Rebellion & Redemption: Lesson 8)

The book of Acts is the story of the disciples living out what Jesus taught them in the Gospels. This book is the “acts” of the apostles. What we see the disciples teaching and doing through the church is simply them putting into action the things Jesus taught them. Jesus taught them to serve, love, teach, help, and care for people—but there is more. When Jesus died for them, He was teaching them to sacrifice for others—to give of themselves for the sake of others. The question is: Do we view this as a practice of the church or simply an option?   Series description: ​What if I told you that God created something to help us face life's challenges, engage in spiritual warfare, strengthen our families, discover our purpose, and live the life He intended for us?     Gideon - Part 2 (Rebellion & Redemption: Lesson 6)

    Pastor Matt Hodge (Discipleship Pastor) - ​​​​​​​​​​​Judges 7:23-25; 8:1-9, 12-28 & 32-35   In Judges 8, the man God used to deliver Israel from Midian begins to rely increasingly on his own judgment, pursuing personal vengeance, creating a spiritual snare for Israel, and leaving behind a nation that quickly returns to idolatry.     Disciple Making - Part 2 (CHURCH ON FIRE — Practices of a Spirit-Empowered Church)

    Pastor Tony Liuzzo (Lead Pastor) - Acts 9:3-15 & 17-19; Luke 19:10; Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 3:6 What does it take? This is a serious question when it comes to discipleship. What does it take to reach the person who knows nothing about God? What does it take to help the struggling couple who is close to calling it quits? What does it take to see someone set free from an addiction they’ve battled for most of their life? The answer is Jesus. YES! He is the answer. But what does that mean? In Acts 9, Jesus does an amazing work in Saul’s life when He calls out to him on the road to Damascus. But God didn’t reach and disciple Saul in isolation. He brought people into Saul’s life. God used Ananias to help Saul take his next steps. He used other believers to encourage him, teach him, and walk alongside him. Jesus is the answer, but Jesus delivers His hope through us! He wants to use us to reach the lost, restore the broken, strengthen struggling marriages, and help people find freedom from the things that have held them captive. So, what does it take to make disciples?
