    013 Thirty Years of Music Ministry [Podcast]

    This month CJM MUSIC celebrates its 30th birthday. Three decades of music and ministry — and in this special anniversary episode, Jo Boyce sits down with two of the people who have been at the heart of it all. Andrew Moss has been a familiar face in the line-up even before CJM MUSIC officially existed — in fact, Andrew first met co-founder Mike Stanley all the way back in 1993, through a Roger Jones musical in Birmingham. Claire Wilson, our violinist, first crossed paths with Jo and Mike in a recording studio in Oxford in the early 2000s, putting down string quartet parts for CJM favourites — Bread of Life and May Your Love — in, as she puts it, “the worst possible key for string players ever.” Listen Now Episode Highlghts Together, Jo Andrew and Claire look back over thirty years of music ministry — the memories, the moments, the conviction that has driven everything CJM MUSIC has made and done.     012 Encouraging Catholic Talent with Nana-Adwoa Mbeutcha [PODCAST]

    In this Episode Jo Boyce is in conversation with Nana-Adwoa Mbeutcha, a long-time friend of CJM MUSIC and the founder of the recently launched Catholic Talent Agency. Nana-Adwoa’s connection with the music and ministry of CJM goes way back. Now, as a busy wife and mother of a growing, young family, Nage’s faith remains central to her life and work.     011 Communion and Community ~ BBC Sunday Service Replay [PODCAST]

    The episode features a replay of a BBC Sunday Service that was originally broadcast on BBC local radio stations across the UK during the pandemic restrictions back in September 2020. Led by Jo Boyce, the service focuses of the ever-relevant theme of Communion and Community. As we celebrate the birthday of the Church at Pentecost, and the great Solemnity of Corpus Christi, this episode is a timely a reminder of who we are called to be as a truly Eucharistic people.     009 An Open Door to Music Ministry with Tom Bonard

    In this episode Jo Boyce will be talking to Tom Bonard of Crossbeam about the evolution of his music ministry and song-writing. In a season when public singing has been relegated a little, for reasons of health and safety, this episode is an encouraging and inspiring reminder of the value of music and song in our journey of faith. Now based in the Diocese of Plymouth, Tom’s links with CJM MUSIC go back many year to their first meeting at the Celebrate Conference, when his musical gifting was just beginning to come to the fore. Tom is now a regular face in the line-up the CJM MUSIC collective, and released his first solo album, Open Door, back in 2017.     007 Heart Speaks Unto Heart ~ Celebrating the life and witness of Cardinal John Henry Newman

    In this special episode Jo Boyce revisits the service that was broadcast live on BBC Radio 4’s Sunday Worship, on the morning of the beatification of Cardinal John Henry Newman. On Sunday 13th October, Blessed John Henry Newman will be canonised and become the first recognised English saint in close to 300 years. So it’s a perfect time to revisit the unforgettable day of his beatification in 2010.     004 Let His Glory Shine ~ Dan Callow talks about his debut EP [PODCAST]
