    Unstuck || The Way of the King week 3 with Joren Berry

    Where in life do you feel stuck? Jesus used his authority to get people unstuck, out of unhealthy ways, habits and beliefs. To see people healed physically, emotionally, spiritually. 3:45 The Message begins Today Joren's aim is to bring us a fresh perspective on three healing stories in Matthew 8. He explains that the three stories are grouped together to highlight the great truth that Jesus is the Messiah for all people. Each of the three healed people from these stories would have been considered unworthy by the Jews.     Learning from Letdowns || Nehemiah week 8 with Nic Gilmour

    Nic, gave a thoughtful and timely encouragement to shift how we reflect on our letdowns in life. Sometimes letdowns are because of our sin. Sometimes letdowns are because God is doing something in us. Even when it seems like it conflicts God is using it! He lead us through Nehemiah 13 asking ourselves "where is our sufficiency and security?" and being honest with our answers.     God-Like Faithfulness || Nehemiah week 7 with Brendan Edwards

    Our guest speaker, Brendan Edwards from The Send, challenged us this week with an important question: What is an appropriate response to God’s faithfulness? The Bible shows us that God is faithful. But Brendan encouraged us to consider what a response to God’s faithfulness sounds like (confession), thinks like (repentance), and looks like (prayer). He challenged us to reflect on what might be getting in the way of our response to God. Comfort? Convenience? Apathy? Fear? Individualism? Busyness? Materialism?
