May be my new favorite Slate podcast. I’m a long time Slate Plus subscriber, regular listener to about six Slate podcasts, and boy do I love this one. The current episode on “erotic transference “ in therapy made me sit down and marvel at the vulnerability and courage of the guests, all nimbly guided by the empathic, gentle hand of Anna Sale. It’s a keeper for me. Give it a try.

This show is probably, hands-down, the whitest podcast I have ever heard. The amount of bland white people that have been interviewed is astonishing. The producers or the host not have any friends of color? Particularly Black people?

Disappointed in the money episode with a guy who had no idea how expensive childcare is- he’s a financial advisor and isn’t familiar with childcare costs?? He had no clue why parents stay home with kids rather than paying for childcare. Not an expert and not educated Do you have any new episodes or just repeats??? You ask us to subscribe to listen to… episodes we have already heard???? The valentines episode is the 3rd time you have played that episode. Seriously? Another rerun with no new content this week. Replaying old episodes with zero new episodes is not podcasting. Most episodes are still just repeats.Why not have new episodes based on the content you used to do rather than interviews with random people no one has heard of. Like another reviewer said, this podcast interviews the most mediocre white people. Such a dumb move. I’m miss when you talked about things like death, sex, and money. Now it’s just boring interviews with people no one has ever heard of. Bring back the juicy episodes! So many reviews say this. Stop interviewing boring people. Every week it’s a rerun or an interview with the world’s most boring person who has less than nothing to say. Stop interviewing irrelevant people and pretending that they’re famous- those episodes are the absolute worst.
