The Play Better Podcast

GM only knows how to read box text and nothing else. Players include one who insisted his (incorrect) pronunciation is more correct than the game's pronunciation guide based on actual Japanese (KAH-KEY-TAH is the correct one, Cameron), and a different player who referred to Japanese onsen as "sitting in your own filth with naked strangers" and falsely claimed that onsens' ban on tattoos was because of superstitous belief that ink pollutes the water rather than keeping out Yakuza. Look elsewhere for actual plays.

The Playbetter Podcast literally changed my life and view towards games when I began listening to it in high school. I definitely recommend giving it a listen. Their 2014 Halloween special is still unsurpassed imo in quality.

I miss listening to your podcast. You guys are amazing. I wish you’d bring it back!

I went searching for L5R 5th ed games to watch, as I'm trying to learn how to generally run a game, and I came across this podcast's youtube channel, which a comment there said the video was only part of what happened, so I searched here and found the podcast. I've not watched yet, so I hope it turns out well. So for now, four stars rated blindly and in good faith and hope.
