    4074 Go With Your Gut

We all know that moment when a decision looms, and your mind starts racing with pros, cons, doubts, and second-guessing. Maybe you want permission or confirmation from the outside world. You seek signs, advice, or validation to justify what, deep down, you already know you should do. If this sounds familiar, then stop fumbling and go with your gut. There's something real and raw in that gut feeling. Some call it a divining rod, others name it the Holy Spirit, intuition, or inner compass. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com No matter the label, that "gut" is a source of wisdom sharper than any spreadsheet or endless research. Look back at your own history. Remember the times you had that gut sense about something — relationships, jobs, moves, or risks. Now more often than not, that instinct was right, regardless of whether you acted on it. Your gut isn't some whimsical guess. It's the sum total of your experience, values, and yes, something deeper — a silent voice guiding you, God Himself. The K.I.S.S. ~ Go with your gut! Lean into what you believe God has laid out for you. This isn't about reckless leaps but about trusting the divine design He built for you, a plan that won't steer you wrong. That said, going with your gut doesn't guarantee that the road ahead will be easy or smooth. In fact, it might mean doubling down, doing the hard work, and pushing through resistance. But here's where courage kicks in: you're worth the effort. What's placed in your heart, what's nudging in your gut — it won't betray you. Be alert to the subtle signs, the God winks life throws your way — little confirmations, unexpected doors opening, unexpected peace in chaos. These moments are your map, affirming your direction. In the end, no one else can make the call for you. Your gut is your truth teller. When you tune in, decide boldly, and take A.I.M. — action ignites motivation. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo Go with your gut. It's time you trusted what you and God already know. "Be present. Be incredible. 4073 It's Supposed To Be Hard

We live in a culture that often sells the idea of easy success—work smart, check the boxes, and life will flow effortlessly. But let's be real: that's not how it works. Life is hard. It's supposed to be hard. If it weren't, everyone would be living your exact life. Think about the people you admire. The master craftsman, the devoted mother, the volunteer who gives with heart. You, for goodness sake! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com What if their roles were easy? Would everyone rise to that level of dedication? Absolutely not. The difficulty of these roles is exactly why so few rise to greatness in them. Take a writer or an actor for example. The glittering spotlight covers countless hours of grinding, rejection letters, auditions that go nowhere, self-doubt, and starting over again and again. If becoming excellent were easy, the world would be flooded with best-selling authors and award-winning actors. It's not—so they aren't. Over the weekend, I caught some of the French Open and watched American tennis player Taylor Fritz compete. Fritz is ranked #7 but is battling knee tendinitis and recent heartbreak from a breakup with his long-term girlfriend. I'm not sharing gossip—this is a reminder that no matter how talented, how far you climb, the road doesn't get easier. Fritz fights through his struggles every point. If playing at that level were easy, everyone would be doing it. Look at Novak Djokovic. He lost the first set in his Round 1 match and had to fight to win the next three sets to move to Round 2. Tennis isn't easy. And life isn't supposed to be. Hard work, resilience, and grit separate the champions from the crowd. This applies across the board. Why do people keep complaining about how difficult life is? Because they're forgetting this simple truth: difficulty is the price of entry.  On Memorial Day, we remember soldiers who chose a path of sacrifice and courage. It was not an easy path; if it were, everyone would have chosen it. But they didn't. They chose grit, commitment, and the willingness to face hardship when others would not; they took a stand, willing to sacrifice for the freedoms they believed in and the ones we are blessed with today. QUESTION: Knowing it's supposed to be hard, how do you go after your dream anyway? You gotta have the willing heart. The K.I.S.S. ~ Serve with a willing heart! Three things to keep your momentum when the going gets tough: Own the Struggle Accept difficulty as a given, not a detour. When challenges come, remind yourself this is part of the process, not a personal failure. Resistance confirms you're growing. Break It Down When the mountain looks too high, break your goals into actionable, bite-sized steps. Progress is progress—celebrate each small victory as proof you're moving forward. Lean on Purpose When pain and doubt creep in, reconnect with your why. What's the core reason that pushes you, even when it hurts? Purpose is fuel that powers you through the hardest miles. An eagle doesn't try to avoid the storm by fleeing—it faces it head-on. When a storm is approaching and it's flying, the eagle actually soars higher, riding the powerful updrafts and winds that storms bring. Instead of fighting the turbulence, it uses the storm's energy to lift itself above the clouds, gaining altitude and a broader perspective. This is nature's bold lesson: when tough times come, meet them with strength and strategy. Don't run from the storm—rise with it. Remember: if your journey was easy, everyone would be on it. It's supposed to be hard because that's what makes it yours—and that's what makes it worth fighting for. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 4072 Walk in the Light of Your Presence

Psalm 89:15 declares, "Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord." At first glance, it sounds like a simple promise: those who praise God and live in His presence are blessed. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com But as we break it down, this isn't just about feeling good in church or reciting prayers. This verse is a challenge and a call to a lifestyle. Psalm 89 is attributed to Ethan the Ezrahite, one of the wise men mentioned in the Old Testament (1 Kings 4:31). While many psalms are credited to David, this particular psalm names Ethan as the author. Psalm 89 stands out because it wrestles with a deep tension: it celebrates God's promises in the covenant with King David, then shifts into a heartfelt lament over apparent divine silence or the seeming failure of those promises. Even amid questioning, lament, and uncertainty, the psalmist calls us back to praise and trust in God's presence. The blessing comes not when life is perfect, but when we intentionally choose to walk in His light, God's light, despite the storm. Learning to Acclaim God "Learned to acclaim" implies growth, discipline, and intention. It's not an accidental shout of joy; it's a deliberate daily practice to recognize God's worth. We don't just start cheering for God, expecting things to magically turn out better. Instead, we train ourselves to see His hand in the mundane and the monumental. This acclaim grows from knowing who God is—the unchanging, powerful, loving Lord who deserves our full attention. Walking in the Light of His Presence To "walk in the light of your presence" means more than a casual awareness. It means orienting our lives toward God's ever-present reality. This light isn't just illumination; it's life-giving clarity, protection, and guidance. Walking in this light means choosing, moment by moment, to live in alignment with God's presence rather than in the shadows of distraction, doubt, or worldly noise. The K.I.S.S. ~ Walk in the light of Your presence, Lord! Now, if we aren't careful, the hardest part is that we often lose sight of God's presence. Why? Because the world competes for our attention constantly—social media updates, news alerts, demands from people around us. We get consumed by the presence of others and the noise they make. No amount of scrolling, comparing, or reacting can fill the space that only God's presence can satisfy. No one deserves our focus more than Jesus Christ, risen and active in our lives. He is the light we are called to walk in—the unshakable source of peace amid chaos. So, where do you find God in your every day? Start Intentional Acclaim: Begin your day by intentionally praising God. Make a joyful noise! It could be a short prayer, a worship song, or even a moment of gratitude. This sets your heart to recognize and rejoice in God's presence. Anchor Your Attention: Notice when your mind drifts to distractions. Gently bring it back to God—whether that's through scripture, a quick prayer, or a reminder phrase like, "Lord, I want to walk in Your presence." Practice Presence Before Productivity: Our culture pushes constant doing, but walking in God's light means prioritizing being with Him before doing for Him. Prayer as a Compass: Make the prayer, "Lord, may I walk in the light of Your presence," your daily compass to re-center yourself. The Bottom Line Psalm 89:15 is a call to live a disciplined, focused life where God is your center, your light, and your joy—no matter what crowds, screens, or scenes try to pull you away. Blessed isn't a feeling here; it's the state of those who have learned to acclaim God and live fully in His light. If your heart feels scattered or your prayer life dry, remember this verse. May your prayer always be, "Lord, may I walk in the light of Your presence." When you do, you walk blessed—fully alive in the grace and power of your risen Lord and Savior. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 4071 Avoidance and Aggression are Easy Traps

Marriage isn't about sweeping the tough stuff under the rug or launching into battle every time conflict hits. It hinges on something far tougher and far rarer—reflection. Avoidance and aggression are easy traps, but neither leads to growth or connection. Let's be real. Life is messy. Hard days come; hard moments happen. The question isn't how fast you move past them, but how deeply you understand them. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com In marriage, moving on too quickly without unpacking what just happened is like trying to cross a river without checking if the bridge holds. You might land on shaky ground—and build walls you didn't realize were there. Picture these walls as Lego bricks—each one a barrier made of hurt, disappointment, or silence. Maybe you've built walls because you felt attacked, or maybe you built them because you chose avoidance as the "peaceful" route. Neither is working. Avoidance piles on just as much as aggression. Behind every "I'm not going to deal with this" is a denial of opportunity—for insight, for connection, for healing. DEEP THOUGHTS: Marriage asks you to be one person and yet somehow become a team. Sounds contradictory? It doesn't have to be. You're already who you are. Becoming a team doesn't mean losing yourself—it means being who you were meant to be, with your spouse pushing you to grow, not tearing you down. It's a mutual journey toward better versions of yourselves through honest, sometimes uncomfortable conversations. Now, what happens if all you do is avoid or attack? You don't get a marriage; you get a series of barricades. What kind of partnership can stand on shaky walls crafted from silence or blame? Spoiler alert: it cracks. So if you want a foundation that can withstand any storms, you've gotta bust the walls down. The K.I.S.S. ~ Bust the walls down! And that comes from reflection and understanding, not avoidance and aggression. So how do you stop stacking Legos and start dismantling walls? How do you take the difficult moments and turn them into breakthroughs for your marriage? Here are three game-changers every spouse can start doing right now: Be present without judgment. Drop the urge to jump in with fixes or defenses. Listen to understand—not to respond or react. When your partner feels truly seen and heard, you create a space for vulnerability that's essential for trust and healing. Ask clarifying questions and restate what you heard. This isn't about interrogation—it's about connection. Confirming what you heard reduces assumptions and shows your partner you're engaged and care enough to get it right. Because if they don't get it, you get to repeat it. And if you didn't get it, they get to repeat it.  Respond with empathy and a shared goal. Acknowledge the hurt without minimizing it. Share your feelings too, not as attacks but as honest insights. Then focus on moving forward together—because marriage isn't a solo climb; it's a tandem trek. Reflection means facing discomfort. It's easier to avoid or lash out, but neither builds a foundation. If you want a marriage that lasts, one that grows through hard moments rather than collapses under them, make reflection your habit. Walls made from avoidance or aggression keep you apart. Reflection—real listening, real empathy, real teamwork—pulls you closer. That's the difference between a house of bricks and a home of love. So what will you build today? "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 4070 What You Tolerate Thrives

Parenthood is relentless. Between work, errands, and the endless to-do list, it often feels easier to let certain behaviors slide. You're tired. You're overwhelmed. You tell yourself, "I'll deal with this later," or "It's not worth the fight right now." But here's the truth no one speaks about: what you tolerate thrives. If you let a frustrating behavior go unchecked today, it won't disappear—it will grow. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Giving in to convenience is setting both your child and yourself up for bigger challenges down the road. As a parent, it's tempting to lean into the easy, but real leadership requires the hard work—the firm boundaries and the consistent follow-through that shape your child's future. QUESTION: How do you currently handle the situations where your child is acting out or not doing something they were asked to do? And honestly, most of us don't take half a minute to think about what we are doing. We just do it! But that's where it becomes a bigger problem in how we are raising our children. Let's assume your child has some behaviors you would like changed. What do you do? If you want to stop tolerating behaviors that don't serve your family, you must intentionally address them now.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Intentionally think about how you discipline! The good news? You don't have to overhaul your whole parenting style overnight.  Here are three powerful steps to take control without losing your mind: 1. Identify and Name the Behavior You Won't Tolerate Clarity is everything. Pinpoint exactly what behavior is problematic. Maybe it's constant arguing at bedtime, refusing to do chores, or disrespect during mealtime. Say it out loud: "I won't ignore yelling," or "Refusing to clean up toys is not okay." Naming it gives you a non-negotiable to work from, rather than vague frustration. 2. Set Clear, Consistent Boundaries Once you know what you're not tolerating, communicate your expectations calmly and clearly. Let your child know the behavior limits and the consequences for crossing them. Consistency is your secret weapon here; wavering only teaches children that boundaries are suggestions, not rules. 3. Follow Through Every Time This is the hardest but most crucial step. To stop tolerating something means acting on it—whether it's enforcing a timeout, withholding a privilege, or just standing firm amid protests. If you fail to follow through just once, the behavior will take that as an opening. You prove your boundaries by sticking to them, even when you're tired, busy, or distracted. How To Apply This In Everyday Chaos Parenting doesn't pause for the messy reality of life—dinner is cooking, dishes pile up, the dog needs a walk, plus the clock is ticking. How do you hold your ground without losing your sanity? It's about weaving these steps into daily routines: During dinner, don't let mealtime chaos slide. If your child refuses to help clear the table or throws a fit about eating veggies, remind them of the expectation: everyone pitches in or dinner ends sooner than they want. Follow through immediately and calmly. When the dog is barking constantly or is ignored, if your child reacts by yelling or withdrawing, set a boundary around respectful behavior toward pets and others in the home. Consistency here teaches empathy and respect, even amid distractions. While doing chores, make teamwork non-negotiable. Say, "I'm handling dishes if you handle the trash." When the task falls on you because of a child's refusal, calmly remind them of their responsibility next time before it escalates. In the end, parenting is about choosing the harder, but higher-value path. If you tolerate behavior because of your low energy or limited time, you're enabling that behavior to grow—and setting up more work tomorrow. What you tolerate thrives. So stop letting tiredness dictate your boundaries. Put your foot down. Follow through. Reinforce what matters—even in the middle of the dinner, dishes, and dogs.  You have what it takes to lead your family, even on the hard days. Choose what matters. Because what you tolerate isn't just surviving—it's thriving. Make sure it's the right thing that thrives. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? You will fail, stumble, and question. But amid all the noise, there's one thing you get to choose each day, and that's to chase what gives you energy. When was the last time you stopped to think about what's next for you? Not the to-do list or the responsibilities stacked on your shoulders, but what truly makes your heart ignite? What lights you up? Imagine granting yourself permission to pursue what matters most to you, not just because you have roles to fill like mom, wife, or business owner, but because you crave fulfillment and joy on your own terms. The K.I.S.S. ~ Chase what gives you energy! This is your moment. Your life is not an accident. You were created on purpose, for a purpose. And that perfect time? It does not exist. 4068 Hand Over the Hard Things

How many of your days slip by, weighed down by the burden of trying to do it all alone? You try to do more, be more, fix more. You push your own limits until your energy is spent carrying everyone else's load. But life isn't meant for you to be the hero in every story, every single day. The endless expectations, the silent assumptions, and the mounting to-do lists can bury you faster than you can breathe. So why not hand over the hard things? THOUGHTS: What if, instead of tightening your grip, you made a deliberate choice to hand over the hard things? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Not in surrender. Not in defeat. But in a bold, clear-eyed decision to look up. Life's challenges—let's call it life's CRAP (challenges, rejections, adversities, problems)—have a sneaky way of pulling us into isolation. They make us feel abandoned, alone, afraid, not enough, or even left behind. TRUTH: If you spend your life leading from behind, you'll miss what's right in front of you. Stop overwhelming yourself. Stop overdoing it. Stop overplaying the days. Hand over the hard things! The K.I.S.S. ~ Hand over the hard things! You get to decide how you show up in your everyday. You get to say NO or YES to what matters in your everyday. You get to hand over the hard things. So, what exactly does it mean to hand over the hard things—especially to God? And how do you do it without losing control or giving up? Here are three practical moves to start with: Name It Out Loud Stop hiding the hard things in your mind's dark corners. Speak them clearly—in prayer, in journaling, or to someone you trust. When you name the struggle, you take the first step in handing it over. You're not just sharing your burden; you're inviting God into the mess you can't solve alone. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved." —Psalm 55:22 Speaking your struggles out loud is like casting your burden onto God's shoulders. He promises to carry it—not abandon you. Choose to Trust, Not Ignore Handing over the hard things isn't about pretending they don't exist. It's about trusting that there is a plan, even when the path looks unclear. When anxiety spikes or doubts creep in, remind yourself: you don't have to carry this alone. Trust that God is ready and willing to do life with you—every day, no exceptions. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." —Proverbs 3:5 Trust isn't a passive hope. It's an active decision to relinquish control and rely on God's wisdom, even when the path isn't clear. Act in Small Steps of Faith Letting go doesn't mean freezing or running away. It means taking one deliberate action in faith. It could be setting a boundary, asking for help, or simply pausing to breathe and pray. These small acts are powerful. They're the practical ways you hand over the hard things without losing your grip on what matters. "For we walk by faith, not by sight." —2 Corinthians 5:7 Handing over hard things includes stepping forward with faith, even when you can't see the whole road ahead. Small steps rooted in trust change everything. Here's the bottom line: your journey is not meant to be a solo act. God doesn't want you to live life carrying the weight by yourself. He wants to dance with you every day as a duet, to walk with you through every challenge, every doubt, and every hard day. So, what hard things are you holding onto today? What can you realistically let go of right now? Maybe it's the need to control the outcome, the pressure to have all the answers, or the belief that you have to prove your worth every moment. Handing over the hard things isn't weakness—it's wisdom. It's courage in motion. Look up. Reach out. Let God carry what you can't. You don't have to go it alone. It's time for your duet!  "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellspringWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 4067 Choose Response Over Reaction

Caught in the middle of stress, most of us default to managing what's wrong—what's lacking. Deadlines pile up, relationships strain, plans wobble, and suddenly, something breaks. Instinctively, we react. We snap, we judge, we retreat, or we lash out. Reacting feels fast, even necessary; it's the path of least resistance when pressure mounts. But the better path is to choose response over reaction. Because reacting won't get you where you want to go. Reacting keeps you stuck in the same loop, spinning your wheels on what's failing, what's missing, what's falling short. It's a band-aid, never a solution. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com What if the real power lies in responding—not reacting? But not just any response. A response that stems not from fear, deficiency, or shortage, but from a clear, unwavering focus on what you're pursuing. That's the shift no one talks about enough. Reacting is about what you lack. Responding is about what you want. Reaction lets stress control you. It narrows your vision to the crisis at hand, igniting survival mode. That's why the easiest thing to do is react—it's instantaneous, raw, emotional. You fire off an angry email. You cancel plans. You scroll endlessly to numb out. You blame. But responding? Responding makes you the gatekeeper of your own mind. It means you catch that instinct, pause, and ask: "What's my next best move toward my goal? What aligns with the life I want—not the chaos I'm in?" The game-changer: When you respond from what you're pursuing—your mission, your clear outcome—you put yourself back in the driver's seat. You stop losing control to fleeting feelings and immediate frustration. You act from strength, not weakness. The K.I.S.S. ~ Choose response over reaction! Why is this so critical in your life? You protect your energy. Reacting is an energy drain that usually feeds the problem. Responding saves your fuel for the long haul. You build respect—for yourself and others. People notice when you manage yourself with intention, when you choose calm over chaos. You stay solution-oriented. Reacting fixes nothing. Responding finds the path forward even in uncertainty. QUESTION: What am I really chasing beneath this pressure? Recognition? Freedom? More time? When you zero in on that prize, it changes everything about how you handle setbacks. Simply put, when you respond to life's curveballs by focusing on what you want, you rise above circumstance. You stop being pulled under by stress and start pulling stress into your bigger vision. If you're honest, reacting is a habit that's cost you opportunities and clarity. It's time to flip the script—not because the chaos will disappear, but because your way out depends on what you're pursuing, not what you're lacking. You're not here to survive the storm. You're here to steer through it with purpose. Respond from that place. Control what you have inside. Keep your eyes on your goal. And then, watch as everything else falls into place as you create your now. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
