This podcast is full of relatable and real elements that will catch you off-guard in a way that makes you think Joe can read your thoughts. His ability to capture nuances of the human condition, put them into memoir/story format, and deliver them with such grace will captivate you - I'm certain. From stories of childhood, to the pitfalls and probelmatic aspects of being an adult and a parent, there's not much that doesn't resonate - even his poignant relationship with grielf and loss will strike a chord. Worth a listen!
Great for traveling

I travel continuously and I love to listen to these podcasts from far away places. It is the perfect cure for a little home sickness. You listen to these and immediately identify with and feel you know the author. He is that guy you grew up with. Joe provides his thoughts and offers an ironic and sincere point of view on the childhood, family and "normal" life events we all lived through.
