IntransikBeats is a record label that aims to highlight raw and uncompromising Techno which displays a dark and gloomy musical image. Our network of like-minded people strives to innovate and contribute to a ever growing community of producers and artists, always remembering where we came from and where we want to be. Starting out as group of independent artists and DJs, involved in and fostering the alternative music scene in Shanghai, China where Intransik has been fortunate enough to be able to host events for many years. Sound design and audio engineering is an integral part of the team’s creative output. Naturally this curiosity in original soundtracks and post production lead to the involvement in creating and applying various sonic concepts to different media projects. We have made it our goal to try to capture the sound of these events and the musical output of the artists involved.     Welcome to our summer edition of the Intransikbeats Podcast ! This time around we are glad to present to you our guest 'Tension', bringing us a cocktail of refreshing techno beats that will be sinking you into an captivating journey full of surprises and mysteries ; A lot of outstanding gems as well as his own productions will definitely have you digging further down into his content; Releases on a variety of labels such as 'Kaputt Musik', 'Illegal Aliens', 'Vector Functions' and recently 'Be Sure', make sure to check it out ! His debut in music all started through digging the parents‘ Soul and 80‘s Dance Tapes in his childhood, Tension got influenced with music early. By listening to genres like Hip Hop, Metal and later Drum & Bass aswell as House Music, he got entusiastic about the diversity of electronic music. Those Inspirations have inspired his musical career, but contributed to his eclecticism in sound. By gathering experience at clubs and festivals since 2006, he soon got deeper into DJing and producing various electronic sounds. Based in his hometown Bielefeld, he took his sound to South Africa in 2013 for a 14 days tour, followed by gigs at Berlin‘s Kater Holzig, Maria am Ostbahnhof and Tresor in 2016. Beside several EP‘s, he released his first self entitled album on his regular, Berlin-based label „Be Sure“. Relevantly embossed by labels like Basic Channel, Ostgut Ton or Perlon, he situates his sound between the poles of (Dub-)Techno, Electronica and Breakbeat, but with a touch of minimalism which he expresses aswell in his DJ- as in his Livesets.     Hello friends and welcome to the 54th Episode of the IntransikBeats Podcast, it's been a while since we've had a guest on on our show but it's for the best; Today we're glad to present to you our new addition to the IntransikBeats Records roster, italian-born and London based DE:MA also known under his deep dubstep alias as 'Fluid Cubo'; Mainly focusing on dub-techno, industrial atmospheres, break beats and out of the ordinary sounds inspired by the Bristol Underground scene, DE:MA draws his unique style by his early influences from sub-heavy sound system culture and pulsating techno scene in his home city Rome; In 2016, he becomes part of Under My Feet lnd, an experimental concept night that has grown into an artistic respected project. These 60 minutes of well mixed and selected tunes will speak for themselves revealing what he has in stock for us in the future.     IBD001 6SISS - Reforest LP Exclusive Junodownloads Release: 25/10/2018 Official Release Date: 08/11/2018 The next release put forth by the Intransikbeats collective celebrates the inauguration of its digital release platform that aims to explore and combine different artistic fields and formats with a focus on audiovisual work. The core of the first release grew from a concept-based project called Reforest by the Belgian artist 6SISS. All five original tracks by 6SISS were inspired and named after some of the world's most precious forests and national parks that humans cherish. These productions draw on the primeval power of these natural treasures and channel them into a collection of cinematic soundscapes that are rooted in experimental electronic music. The visual art for this project was created by Natche, who expertly contributed a visual identity to the auditory foundation provided by 6SISS. The original tracks were reinterpreted by the core roster of Intransikbeats with contributions by Nothing Is Real, CRCT-CTRL, Steven Lorenz and the newest addition, our long time collaborator from Italy 'Knobs'. Each of these remixes puts 6SISS's work into new and unique frames that explore different niches of the Techno realm.     Welcome to our 53rd Episode of the IntransikBeats Podcast, to prepare for the transition of the autumn days smoothly, we're glad to present to you an hour of the finest selection of dynamic paced techno variety mixed by 'Diane Cytochrome' from Lyon, France. With a classical music background at the conservatory, Diane became very passionate about electronic music culture and gave up the piano and her cello for turntables. In her artistic approach, she forms her universe by drawing inspiration from different trends to forge her intimate vision of music. The desired aesthetic: find the light in the dark, vector of hope like life after death, a world where the vibrations are contrasted through heavy, powerful and melodic sounds. The Techno influence essentially consolidates this dark universe contrasted by the light. A singular universe without complacency through its sound selection without boundaries. Diane opened 'Les Nuits Sonores 2013' in Lyon, by mixing at the inauguration of the Festival. The 2013/2014 season marks her professionalization in the performing field as a DJ, with her residency 'CYTOCHROME' at the Terminal Club in Lyon.
