If I Go Missing

There is so much potential in this podcast and I really like the mother/daughter dynamic. There are definitely mistakes and conversations that could be edited out and I agree with the reviews about Brandon Lawson saying it was handled insensitively- I could not finish that episode. I hope they keep working at it and find their groove and voice.

I’ve just almost made it through the Karlie Guse episode but had to give up. Not only was much of the information poorly researched ( at one point the host said she had been “doing research on TikTok “ so this may be the issue) but the mispronunciation of SO many words, such as calling Yosemite Yoos-I-myte, “facilitating” in place of vacillating and the worst of all, “ the familial iceberg” ( although maybe the host is related to an iceberg?). Just overall a poorly done podcast

This podcast isn’t super unique which is hard to do regardless because of how many true crime channels there are. My only problems were the mispronunciations. I’m not subscribing but I’m leaving a five star review because people in the reviews want to act like every victim is a saint or saying the podcast is “ableist” simply because they read an actual quote that someone said. I feel that because it’s a small podcast the woke bullies are going to mass one star it over little things as they usually do because they know they can get away with it.
