    358. Why You're Wiped Out After Every Session

You're seeing fewer clients than you were two years ago and you're more tired than you've ever been. That's the part that doesn't add up, and it's why you keep reaching for the wrong explanation — you need better boundaries, you need to sleep more, you need a lighter week. Here's what's actually going on. Somewhere after you raised your rate, the sessions got heavier. You started handing her three exercises she never asked for, plus a breathing practice, plus a sleep protocol, plus a follow-up email with two PDFs attached, because the higher number felt like it needed proof. None of that shows up on your schedule, and all of it comes out of you. It doesn't work for her either. She walked out with eleven things to do and managed two of them, so at the next session you explained more, which made that session run longer, which is how a 60-minute appointment quietly became a 90-minute one you're still getting paid 60 for. Then your body does the math before your brain does. That's the real reason you hesitate when someone asks if you have room for a new client — not because you don't want the income, but because your nervous system already knows what one more client actually costs you. So in this episode I walk you through the audit. Pick one client, pick one session, and write down every single thing you did for her, including the prep the night before and the text you answered at 9pm. Most practitioners find the leak in under ten minutes, and it's almost never where they expected it to be. You didn't get certified, trained, and experienced just to burn out proving your worth. It's time to charge like you already know it. In this episode: Why firehosing a client with information lowers her results and your rebooking rateWhat your nervous system is actually doing when it makes you hesitate to take on a new clientThe 3-step audit that finds where your time and energy are leaking out unpaidHow one client went from scraping by session to session to consistent $12K+ months, working the same hours she was already workingWhat to give a client instead of "more," so she actually implements and gets the result she came for Questions this episode answers : Why am I so drained after every session when I'm not seeing many clients? Because the unpaid work has grown around each session — the prep, the extra instruction, the follow-up messages — so your real hours per client are far higher than what's on your calendar. Why do I feel like I have to give clients more after raising my rates? A higher price triggers the urge to justify it, and the fastest-feeling justification is volume: more information, more homework, more access.Does giving clients more actually improve their results? No. Implementation drops as the number of instructions goes up. Fewer, clearer directives get followed; a long list gets abandoned. How do I find where my time is going in my practice? Audit one client and one session end to end, writing down every task you performed including the unpaid ones outside the session, then compare that total against what you were paid for it. 357. Why You Feel Behind in Your Wellness Business (And Why You're Not)

You're Not Behind. You're Between Phases. If you woke up Monday already feeling behind before the week even started — this one's for you. I just got back from a week of camping, fully unplugged, and I came home straight into something I hear from wellness practitioners every single week: the quiet feeling of being too late, too slow, or not far enough along. Here's the short answer, so you don't have to wait for it. You are not behind. There is no universal timeline, and nobody handed you one. What's actually happening is that you're in a phase. There are three of them, they have completely different jobs, and they give you completely different feedback. Most people quit in the first one because they're measuring it with the last one's ruler. I walk through all three in the episode. What I cover: Why comparing your chapter 2 to someone else's chapter 10 is costing you real momentum — and what it's actually measuringThe three business phases most entrepreneurs never learn to recognize, and why you might be walking away right before the harvestHow I launched my first online membership, made a few thousand dollars, decided it was a failure, and walked away from something that could have been goldThe mindset shift that took me from a goal of 9 new clients to 15 — with no crystal ball and no guarantee Whether you're just starting to post on Instagram, launching your first program, or watching your peers lap you: the only thing that reliably slows you down is telling yourself you should be further along. Questions this episode answers: How do I know if I'm behind in my business? You aren't. The timeline you're measuring against is one you absorbed from someone else's highlight reel. Why isn't my business growing yet? In the earliest phase, growth shows up as inputs, not income. The results are stacking whether you can see them or not.Should I quit if something isn't working? Not until you know which phase you're in. A few thousand dollars in a first launch is a signal, not a verdict. How long does it take to build an online wellness business? There's no fixed answer, and anyone selling you one is selling you a timeline. 356. How Lindsay Grobman Lombardo Built a Holistic Physical Therapy Practice Around School Hours

What if you could see 3 clients a day, be home for school pickup, and still hit $12K months? That's the practice Lindsay Grobman Lombardo built — and in this episode she walks through exactly how she did it. Lindsay is a physical therapist, yoga teacher, and health coach. Before she had the clients to fill it, she journaled the exact schedule she wanted: which hours she'd see people, which hours belonged to her kids. She sat in a coffee shop in the town she wanted to live in, years before she lived there. Then she did the business work and the energetic work until the calendar she'd written down became the calendar she was actually living. She started virtual-only — which she'll tell you was a gift, not a compromise — before opening a brick-and-mortar space. She was terrified of the camera and signed clients from Instagram anyway. She launched her first online group program, The Calm Mom Reset, without being what anyone would call tech-savvy. If you've been wondering whether you can have a full, profitable practice and still be the parent who's there at 3pm, this episode is your proof of concept. In this episode: How Lindsay blends physical therapy, yoga, breathwork, and health coaching into one practice instead of running four separate businessesWhy starting virtual-only made the move to a physical space easier, not harderDesigning a client schedule around school hours — and the boundaries that keep it from creepingGetting over camera fear and actually signing clients from InstagramWhat went into launching her first online group program, The Calm Mom ResetThe manifestation practices she credits for making $12K months realWhat to do when you're scared, not tech-savvy, and want to grow anyway Connect with Lindsay: Website: https://www.breathe-eden.com Instagram: @breathe_edenptyogaandwellness Follow me on Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/wellunbound/ Ready to work with me? 355. How to Show Up Online When Visibility Feels Unsafe

"I'm just not the type to put myself out there." If you've said that sentence — out loud or in your head — this episode is for you. What if the thing holding your business back is trying to be everything to everyone? I'm pulling back the curtain on my rebrand and the nervous system pattern I found underneath it all: the chameleon. For years I over-prepared, played it safe, held back the "controversial" stuff, and waited until every piece was perfect before putting it into the world. Here's what I know now: that's not a strategy problem. It's a safety response — and it's quietly capping your growth. In this episode:     •    Why perfectionism and people-pleasing are nervous system responses, not personality flaws     •    How to tell a safety response from an actual strategy problem     •    The fear of judgment — and why it usually traces back to how hard you judge yourself     •    What "who said you could teach this?" is really telling you     •    How to show up before it's perfect, and why the polishing is what's costing you reach     •    What stepping into a new identity actually looks like     •    The one shift that takes you from "that sounds nice" to magnetic Who this is for: Physical therapists, yoga teachers, massage therapists, acupuncturists, health coaches, and healers building online income beyond the treatment table — anyone who tidies a post into oblivion before she'll hit publish. Your brand is already speaking — is it saying the right thing? Your brand isn't your logo. 352. Why You Don't Need a Perfect Launch to Scale: Real Numbers From My Best Launch

Still waiting for the "perfect" launch before you go all in? This episode might change your mind. After 10 years in business, I just had my best launch ever — and I'm pulling back the curtain on every messy, imperfect detail so you can shortcut your own learning curve. I'm talking real numbers, the mistakes I made live and in public, how I launched while my daughter finished school and I was literally out of town, and how I stayed calm, grounded, and unattached even when my nervous system was screaming. If you're a skilled practitioner who's been told you need a massive audience, flawless sales calls, or a perfect funnel before you can scale — consider this your permission slip to start now, imperfect and all. In this episode: The real numbers from my most successful launch (and the goals I blew past)3 mistakes I made publicly — and what each one taught meWhy a price objection is almost never actually about the priceHow to launch while life is happening without burning outWhat I'd do differently next time — and what I'd do exactly the same This episode is for you if you've been asking: Do I need a big audience before I launch an online program? How do I launch when my sales calls or funnel aren't "perfect" yet?Can I run a launch while life is full and still stay grounded? Why do people say no on price — and is it really the price? If you're a licensed practitioner ready to build income beyond your treatment schedule, this is the honest, unfiltered look at what a real launch takes. 351. When the Financial Pressure Won't Let Up: How Wellness Entrepreneurs Can Take Action Without Burning Out

The clock is ticking — and your nervous system knows it. Maybe there's a spouse waiting to see real revenue. A mortgage that won't wait. Or just the quiet weight of your own big dreams pressing on you. That pressure is real, and most wellness entrepreneurs respond to it in one of two ways: they overwork, or they freeze. In this episode, I share what actually changes everything when the financial pressure hits — and it's not another strategy, offer, or platform. It's your ability to feel the pressure without letting it run the show. We get into why "doing more" is usually the wrong move, the only three things you need to start making money, and why imperfect action will always beat perfect preparation. If you're a licensed practitioner — PT, yoga teacher, massage therapist, acupuncturist, chiropractor, health coach — trying to build income outside the treatment room while the bills keep coming, this one's for you. In this episode: Why feeling the pressure (instead of avoiding it) is the actual turning pointThe reason doing more is usually the wrong move when you're under financial stressThe only 3 things you need to start making money in your businessWhy imperfect action beats perfect preparation every timeHow to protect your mindset when the pressure is loudestWhy the discomfort is part of the process — and why it's worth itThis episode answers: What do I do when I'm under pressure to make money in my wellness business? Why does working harder make things worse when I'm stressed about revenue? How do I take action when I don't feel ready?
