Hey everyone! I'm Travis Wright, and "I'm a fan of..." is your show for music, comedy, and more. It's a place for me to share the things that I like. The show is centered around a long form conversation with a new guest each episode. At the start and end of the show I feature a new band or musician that I like by playing their songs. I don't stick to any genres and I don't care if they're famous or if they're a nobody. I just want to explore new things and share them with you. If you're a musician, a comedian, or just someone that does something interesting, please reach out to me on Instagram @traviscanlisten or send me an email at traviscanlisten@gmail.com

Enjoy the show!

This episode our interview guests are Meagan and Bryson Funk. They are the creators of Dallas Loft Stories, an intimate (not necessarily acoustic) series, as well as a video series, and more. Instead of me picking out the musicians for this episode, we feature the musicians on the upcoming Dallas Loft Stories concert on July 10th. In order of appearance, our featured musicians are Taylor Davidson, Jo James, and Ron Bultongez.

    #26 Bomethius

This episode our music feature and our interview guest is Bomethius. He is a fantastic musician, singer, and songwriter that bridges multiple styles and genres to create his work. As I say in the intro, if you put a gun to my head and tell me to peg him down in one genre... I still can't.

Go to his website to experience his wide range of work and pick up his albums on bandcamp to help support what he's doing.

    Enjoy!

#25 Hannah Harvey Vaughan and Mean Motor Scooter

This episode our featured musician is once again Mean Motor Scooter and our interview guest is standup comic Hannah Harvey Vaughan.

Mean Motor Scooter is set to release a new EP "Mr. Sophistication" on May, 1st. We play a two songs from the EP and one classic that I really enjoy.

Hannah is our interview guest and she is one of the few comics that both my wife and I agree is absolutely hilarious. We talk about performing jokes about her deceased mother, our terrible eating habits, and more.

    Enjoy!

A great time

Fun and insightful conversations with under-represented artists in various walks of life. Hosts have great chemistry with each other and wrap the guests up in it.

Featured musicians quickly become my favorite new artists.

A great time.
