She explores the grief process of losing a beloved pet and how dogs can continue to be present in our lives even after they pass away.   Cathryn Michon is a best-selling author, standup comic, actress, feature film director, screenwriter, producer, and animal advocate. She has written for Emmy Award winning TV series and feature films including Amblin/Universal’s A Dog’s Purpose, which is the most successful international live action dog movie of all time. She’s also a co-screenwriter with her husband W. Bruce Cameron for Sony’s A Dog’s Way Home and the Amblin/Universal A Dog’s Purpose 2: A Dog’s Journey. An alumnae of The Second City, she co-directed, co-wrote, produced and stars in the Lionsgate film Cook Off!  with Melissa McCarthy. She also directed, co-wrote, produced and stars in the Mar Vista Entertainment Film Muffin Top: A Love Story with David Arquette, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Melissa Peterman.
