    Telestai

    Telestai

I'm joined by the 4 members from the band, Telestai. The band recently had a release of their old demos, from Roxx Records.  The guys discuss their beginnings, forming the band and some of the interesting shows they played. Working with some of the other major Christian rock artists during that time and what's currently going on with them.  Disclaimer, Eric's comforter isn't that bad.

    Lori Peters (Skillet)

Lori discusses how she became a drummer and her early influences were.  We talk about her life leading up to Skillet, joining Skillet and the big decision to leave the band.  She went through breast cancer around 4 years ago and she discusses that.  She is also part of a cool group that are combining drums and raising money for the fight against breast cancer. Another great chat with my guest.

Thankful For This Podcast

I love this podcast! Great interviews with great artists. The host asks many questions I would ask and the content is excellent.

An up close look at great Christian metal and rock artists

Joel Walker would seem to have a dream gig. He gets to talk to many of the heroes of the music of my youth. He’s a great interviewer that asks many of the questions I would want to know answers to of many of the fantastic Christian hard rock and metal artists I still follow, despite some of this music being decades old.

Keep up the great work and keep the interviews coming!

Different in a very good way

Joel interviews so many folks us Christian metal heads grew up with. These interviews aren’t typical generic material. Joel asks original questions. He asks personal questions. He asks questions about the “dirt” for those that have dirt but without it getting gossipy or slanderous. More like pitfalls for listeners to avoid. I haven’t listened to every episode but have thoroughly enjoyed every one I’ve listened to even when it’s a person who I am not familiar with.
