She came to China by destiny and our meeting was a blow of fresh air, insightful, inspirational and blissful. She came with the mindset of growing and learning from this ancient county. With a focus in integrative medicine, Acylina became a driver for positivity and wellness, assisting people all over the world to heal by integrating their body, mind and spirit. Meet Stevan, the second Serbian I know other than Novak Djokovic (tennis player), although I never met Djockovic in person haha! He is one of the many friends I’ve made through volleyball. Because of life circumstances, Stevan ended up in China, a place he at first had no interest in coming to, but that now proves to be the place for him to live and stay. From tattoo artist, graffiti artist to gaming designer, started his China journey about 5 years ago in the city of Foshan, where is apparently a very popular destination for Serbians! Before coming to Shenzhen he lived in Guangzhou for 4 years. We get into the differences of working for a Chinese company and how the working system differs from Europe, if you don’t like micromanaging, it might not be the right environment for you! We chat the importance of community building, cultural impacts and his views on the learning the language. We also discuss work culture in the country and the incredible growth this country has and is still experiencing, which puts other countries into perspective. This was a very fun conversation about going with the flow of life and seeing where it leads with no expectations or fears.
