Hey everyone, My name is Alexia Gallien. I am 28 years old and from Louisiana. I've always been an over thinker, someone who always seemed to get lost in her own head. In my 20s I have been on a journey of self, trying to find myself, grow, and heal mentally. It was been a journey that has been weary some days, but incredibly rewarding and life changing. I hope that my words can give you perspective and offer comfort whenever you may need it...Because, What better way to heal, evolve, and thrive, other than talking it out and getting-Out of our own head? In this segment, I will share some good news, as I wait for some more news about my journey to Law School. I wanted to encourage ya'll to move to believe in yourself and not only have vision, but do the work to make them come to pass.     IMOH #6: Live Your Life

    Having regrets, dealing with external issues, wondering if you’ve done enough, can be hard on us all. As the years go by, I can attest that the feeling that I have missed out on my purpose or whether or not the ship as sailed on my own happiness, my own joy, is nothing short of truth of my life, as I can see it.  Finding myself in my own head and debating about putting my life on the back burner for any longer brought about a depression and feelings of anxiety, though without regret for those in my life I have cared for. I kept thinking that maybe it is too late for me and what will I do if everyone else moves on and I’m still here? Will I allow myself to wither away or will I gather up the courage to “Just do it”?  I chose the latter. I hope you do too. Let’s do it together.

    Grief comes in all forms...maybe in the loss of a loved one or friend (whether they have passed on from this life or simply moved away)... perhaps in an attempt at a career path or school choice. In whatever form grief has decided to visit you, I'd like us to take a moment here in this episode and discuss the realities of that in our lives. I'd ask this question of US, "How we can begin or welcome change or grief?" In part 1 of this episode, I will speak about ways in which I am grieving and why?
