I sensed that the Spirit of God was highlighting, in very practical ways, how we find ourselves stuck and suffering with no obvious root cause. It was evident to me that the pricetag of our covenants is often higher than we bargain for, and it is something many are oblivious to. So, In today's post, I share those dreams, the revelation I received from God on them and what to do as a believer to experience freedom.     In the last episode, we spoke about how ‘Walk with me‘ was the simple instruction I received from the Lord at a time where I was seeking directives on my next steps. At the time, it seemed like a vague, generic and impractical instruction that was somehow supposed to be “tailored” to this season — I didn’t get it… until I did. Turns out there were some unexpected turns ahead of me that I wouldn’t be able to plan for without proximity to my ABBA.  In today's episode, we dive into the word I received from the Lord in response to a question my spiritual sister posed during that time of guided meditation. She asked – “Who does God want to be to you in this time?” While the list of who Abba is to me is endless, at this particular time of devotion, I sensed the Lord give me a very clear and distinct answer as I presented the question to Him. I have to say, it was another seemingly strange response yet again — I heard “Compass”.  In today's episode, we dive into exactly what that meant for me, and possibly for you.     Are you eagerly waiting on the Lord for next steps, instructions or strategy? Have you received nothing despite your pressing in and inquiries? Some time ago, I took a leap of faith in obedience to what I was sensing the Holy Spirit prompting me to do. In doing so, I was anticipating transition into a new season looking a certain way. I believed there were goals, dreams, and visions which will be accomplished in this new season, and while that wasn't necessarily incorrect, my idea of how it wuld happen was way off. I sought the Lord for strategy, and contrary to the type of response I was expecting in the form of a plan, structure, bullet point type instruction manual... all I got were three words — WALK WITH ME. I didn't get it. As I sat with the Lord, by his wisdom, He began to unravel what this means. Those three words are loaded. They may be all you need. I talk about it in today's blog post and I pray the revelation blesses you.     Our lives here on earth to God are in some(if not all) ways investments. In a quick moment, it’s as though I got a glimpse through God’s eyes of how it looks and feels when we are not yielding returns despite all the Lord has invested in us. When scripture says that we were created anew in Christ Jesus to do the good works He planned for us in advance[Eph 2:10], that is an investment. Our obedience and alignment with God to do the works He has assigned to us will bear fruit aka “return on investment”. Where in your life have you suppressed the expression of the Spirit? How have you sown this seed and cultivated the soil to experience growth? Are you hoarding or burying your seed for fear of failure? What silent fear have you allowed to hinder you from walking in the obedience needed to yield return? God gives seed to the sower[2 Cor 9:10]. God gives us seeds in various forms – talents, gifts, money, opportunities, ideas, etc. The seed you are given comes with expectations – GO and SOW. The ultimate return is seen in you imaging Christ.     Suffering is something that has been repeatedly highlighted to me over the past couple months. What really is suffering as a tool in God's hand? Why do believers have to endure this horrid experience? Why are we expected to be partakers in suffering? How does suffering work in my favour? The questions could keep on coming. Well, in today's post, I share a few of the lessons I've learnt on suffering, and why this is a believer's cross. My hope with sharing this is to help you reframe your suffering: Past, present and future experiences. Being able to see things through God's lens can change everything. In getting to know God's heart on the matter, it is my prayer that you are encouraged, fuelled with hope and submitted to God and the process He has you in, while you wholeheartedly trust and believe that He will come through for you. If you love the Lord, and are called according to His purpose, it can ONLY work for your good.
