Educational and Thought Provoking

I cannot express my love for this podcast enough!

For starters, Jackson Long has refined and perfected his art of podcasting and has a unique style that is soothing and addictive. As a academic and athlete I appreciate his analysis of scientific literature as he boils it down into digestible facts. I also appreciate his personal anecdotes and the anecdotes of his guests who are very experienced in their sports.

Thank you Jackson!

A totally different kind of podcast for athletes

There is no shortage of podcasts on sports, athletic performance, sports nutrition, etc. And for the most part they are all the same. NOT THIS SHOW. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to hear a talented athlete talk about things you never hear but are so needed right now in this space like exercise addiction, disordered eating, living a balanced life as an athlete and what the science actually says about proper nutrition/how those choices affect the environment. Don't waste your time with other podcasts. Listen to this one.
