They call him “The Voice of Rodeo” and today we are so excited to be bringing you the one and only Mr. Bob Tallman. Bob is a 10x PRCA Announcer of the Year, 23x National Finals Rodeo Announcer, a real estate agent, and a 5th generation beef rancher!

Bob  grew up on a cow calf operation outside of Winnemucca, Nevada and now resides in Poolville, Texas with his wife Kristen. Family comes first around the 3T ranch and there are two generations following in Bob's tracks!  We sat down with Bob and got to talk rodeo history, his announcing career, brand new website (www.bobtallman.com), real estate and Bob Tallman’s Reserve Beef. She is a 7x NFR Qualifier, College National Champion, 4x World Champion Barrel Racer, dog mom to Winsten and Sister’s person. The tradition of the Pendleton Round-Up is something that is recognized worldwide in the western industry! Tiah DeGrofft and her family have deep roots within the Pendleton community and a true love and passion for the Round-Up! Tiah is the first ever woman to be president of the Pendleton Roundup, as well as the first ever woman to be president of any major rodeo in the nation! She is paving the way for women around the world in the western industry, and sharing her insight of ambition, leadership, community, marketing, and her love for serving others! 


This episode is not only about becoming the first ever female president of Pendleton Round-Up, but about the cowboys and cowgirls that have helped her along the way. Not only inside of the rodeo arena but out as well. Tiah talks about her marketing job with the PGA Golf Tour, and the many lessons that she learned and has tried to apply back into the western industry. Her many years serving as a volunteer for the Pendleton Roundup, her family ties to the PRU and being on the Round-Up board for 8 years prior to her presidency! 

The seeds that have been planted by Tiah and many of her predecessors are rich, and worth listening to on this episode! As a woman in the industry she is standing on faith, believing in herself,  not limiting her dreams, and sharing her journey with everyone that she can!

Randy Bracher has Pendleton, OR blood that runs 5 generations deep, and has passed down the sacred letter “T” for “Tradition” to his daughter, Sydney! We sit down today and talk about just how Pendleton Roundup became one of the most iconic rodeos to compete at as a breakaway roper! 


Breakaway Roping at the Roundup started off as a circuit event qualifier for the columbia river pro rodeo women's breakaway roping circuit with the help of breakaway roping advocate Jennifer Casey! For 3 years Pendleton Roundup hosted the breakaway roping qualifier to a limited number of breakaway ropers, and then in 2021 they took the leap and added breakaway as a Pro Rodeo event, with equal money, and a chance for all of the women involved in Pro Rodeo Professional breakaway roping to run one off the hill on the grass! 


Randy and Sydney share the special father-daughter bond, and share a little behind the scenes of what that is like in and out of the rodeo arena! Their bond runs deep, and the love of a father for his daughter and the future that is before her is something that will inspire all of our listeners!

Heidi Foy is a woman full of passion for the western industry, creating relationships, establishing community, and bringing solutions to the gap in the college rodeo recruiting process! 


Covid was a tough year for everyone, but in the midst of trials came a solution from Heidi’s kitchen table, where she began to create an online platform for college rodeo students, coaches, and parents, where all of their questions can be answered in one place! 


Bullfrog Creatives is an online platform that offers several solutions for high school students looking at potential colleges, learning about the programs that each university offers, a rodeo community for questions, a variety of information, links, scholarship info, basically every tool that a high school student can use to find that perfect rodeo program that they are looking for! 


This platform not only benefits students and their parents, but the college rodeo coaches as well! This platform offers a platform for students to build out their bio and coaches to go through and see what all these high school rodeo students have to offer on their resumes! 


Heidi has built a platform that covers all of the bases with Bullfrog Creatives!
