In The Loop

The ladies sometimes talk very fast, sometimes at the same time. It’s hard to listen to... That said, I like the interviews which are calmer and seem to be thought through. Thanks for Kevin!

I probably rather listen to TSL or IceTalk (reluctantly) than these girls where I can just feel my skating IQ dropping with every passing minute, no joke... I’m confused about their expertise and edge calls (try “Flutzes and Waxels” instead for the real educational commentary), as this podcast feels like a few adorable fangirls, none of whom ever stepped on an ice rink EVER before, got together and decided to talk about their favorite skaters with an unapologetic and hilarious biases! LOL

I’ve listened to some episodes, but I don’t see myself coming back to this podcast. They are too biased for my liking and don’t make up for it with technical insight, in my opinion. I do appreciate that they seem to really enjoy each other’s company, so good for them!

I listen to a couple of other ice skating podcasts and this is my third choice if I’m stuck waiting for new episodes to come out from the others. I find that there are sometimes too many voices going back and forth, and it can get chatty. Sometimes different people say the same thing over and over again. I feel that other skating podcasts do a better job balancing the personal chatter with concrete and interesting skating discussion.
