    Bob Umbel Deck Party

    From Bob Umbel's deck in Ocean City MD hours before the inaugural Mid Atlantic Skateboarding Hall of Fame induction I got a chance to sit down with five of the inductees, and some other legends of the east coast scene, included in order of appearance, Mike Mapp, Bruce Adams, Wade Henderson, Henry Gutierrez, Glen Gutierrez, Eddie Gutierrez, John Fudala, Ned " Peanut" Brown, Mark Hooper, David "Shaggy" Maphis, and Tim "Puker" Whistler. Some great conversation and stories were shared, from the birth of Lapper skate mag, to the beginnings of Trashmore, all the way through Coathanger Delivery, and  how Cedar Crest came to be, until the very end.

    Michael Sky

    Michael Sky is a singer, song writter, and guitar player from Ocean City, MD. He is the front man for the band The Rouge Citizens, and has recently embarked on a solo career that finds him traveling and collaborating with nationaly renowned artist. We sit down and talk about his beginnings growing up in Ocean City, all the way through his most recent projects.

    Chauncey Rhodes

    Chauncey Rhodes is a skateboarder, surfer, entrepreneur, that lives in Ocean City MD. Coming from the Silver Spring MD. area, he grew up skateboarding in the 70's and working for his brother at Bethesda Surf Shop / Sunshine House, before moving to Ocean City. There he opened the longtime operating, and well known Chauncey's Surf Shop. We sit down and have a conversation about his beginning up until the present day.

    Bob Umbel is a Skateboarder from Maryland that currently splits his time between Ocean City MD and Melbourne Beach Fl. He has been skateboarding for 50 years. Once the key holder at the legendary Cedar Crest Country Club, he has done many things for skateboarding, like founding the Florida Vert Series, that went on to be the Renagade Vert Series.     Jack Denning is a Baltimore musician, who has been a part of some of Baltimore"s most iconic bands, including Golden Sound Axis, Q, Almighty Senators, 4 Footer, Bastard of Reality, and most recently, The Peanut Brothers.     Brad Hoffman aka B Rad

    Brad Hoffman is a surfer, skateboarder, promotor from Ocean City Maryland. He has deep roots in the skateboarding, and surfing scene for many decades. He has helped Ocean City for years, by bringing some of the biggest events Ocean City has ever hosted.From action sport trade shows, to music festivals, car shows, to helping the Dew Tour organizers.  He still promotes, huge events like Jeep week, amongst other things, and works with the Ocean City Surf Club, which does amazing things for the local youth.  He is a husband, father, and friend. A must listen episode if you like mid atlantic board sport history.
