Great subject matter

This podcast has a lot of great information. But I’ve struggled to stick with it. As a social worker this subject really interests me and so I wanted to know more. There is 8-10 minutes of advertising every episode. Which adds up when an episode is 30-40 minutes and part of that is credits. I wasn’t sure I was on the correct podcast when I played episode one. I was driving and there was 3 minutes of advertising before the introduction. I was trying to figure out what I had done wrong. The episodes jump around a little I would have edited them different. There was some repetition and I thought I had played the wrong episode when I was in the shower listening. There were a couple of interviews with victims parents. There was not a lot of information about one of the crimes so I had to pause the episode and google and then come back to the interview.

Makes an interesting topic dull. Including monotone sleepy narration. And 5 hosts. The first example was a murderer who wasn't even an incel - but incels liked it. Dull ep about laws.

The hype surrounding this show is not warranted. It is extremely superficial and barely gets below the surface of what and incel culture is all about and its components. By focusing on Andrew Tate or Evan Rogers, and a bunch of pop psychologists, or trolling the Internet, we don’t really get a lot of good insights. What about the Groypers? Or the right wing diatribes on what masculinity is, by people like Kathleen Parker, Josh Hawley, Tucker, Carlson, etc. There seems to be a fear of getting too political, which is absurd, when incel culture is inextricably tied to right wing politics.
