So glad this exists. Been re-listening to We’ve got Worm, and this is just so much more comprehensive, this will supplant that one as the definitive Worm review podcast by the time you finish.

Absolutely incredible podcast, and the reason why is unmistakably Jenny and how much she’s getting out of the story. Both in terms of enjoyment, and also insight into the world and characters. The only reason it’s four stars and not five is that Ted is sometimes concerningly out of touch. Most recently at time of review pushing back really hard against the read that Lisa might be asexual, and claiming it’s a caricature of reality for Brian to be potentially in danger lounging around outside his apartment building in a city with strong White Supremacist presence. He also more than once really spins things so hard trying to emphasize particular readings of the story that it comes out a little warped, when I’d think he’d want to avoid influencing the new reader as much as possible. None of that is enough to erase how comprehensive the coverage of the material is, or what a joy Jenny is, however.
