Initial Insights is a weekly conversation from Lake Grove Presbyterian Church. Pastors, staff, and guests gather for an informal discussion of the Bible passage that will be preached and taught the following Sunday. Together, we share first impressions, ask questions, explore the context of the passage, and listen for what God may be saying through Scripture. These conversations help us begin shaping our sermons and invite our church family to start reflecting on the text before we gather for worship.
