Startups that focus on quantum technology have been given $7 million in funding from the New South Wales government.
Generative AI could add $115 billion to Australia's economy each year by 2030, according to Microsoft Australia News Centre.
Hostplus, a super fund, has put in an extra $100 million into a commercialisation fund managed by IP Group. This fund is used to help universities turn their research into products and services.
