Beautiful people

Wow, that was a lot of wisdom in 1 place . Thanks for sharing your experiences. Oliver and I left the lds church about 9 years ago. It really complicates family relationships. I’d love some more thoughts something I get hung up on: I hear you when you say thighs like the church works for some people, etc, but I believe the church has caused too much hurt to justify people staying. It seems to me that if church members took their loyalty somewhere else like community action groups, small gatherings of hands on service, etc instead of the church, it would just be better and prevent systemic abuse of all kinds. It’s hard for me to avoid judgment of by family and friends who stay in the church through each horrifying, embarrassing, misstep. But I have many people who I love who stay, so my question is genuine albeit tainted with judgment ☹️☹️ admittedly . Kimberly and Oliver Abbott . Ps- I’ve only listened to the just recent podcast so far but plan on binge listening :)
