Are plant-based diets healthier? Here's what the science says — Chef Dr. Mike

My grandmother was one of those rare, special humans to live to 100 years old. And she actually lived up until earlier this year in February, 2024. In a way, this episode is in her honor because she was one of the more plant forward people in my life. My grandma was a Buddhist and she had the utmost respect for food, whether it came from animal or plants or fungi.Today's topic is all about plant-based and plant-forward diets. There's been a huge shift in food trends where about 10 years ago, ...

5 gluten-free breads that actually taste good

Can you believe it is 2024 and we don't have a single gluten-free bread that tastes amazing and is widely available. Why can't I go into a fast food chain and order a burger with good GF bread!? I know a lot of y'all are gluten-free like me, whether you're gluten intolerant or celiac or choose to cut gluten out of your diet. One of the most common questions I get is, "What gluten-free breads do you like that actually tastes good?" Because so often gluten-free bread is small and dry and just d...

Smart, Insightful, and build to last!

There is so many reasons why I like this podcast. First of all, Jane is clearly passionate and educated on the topics she discusses. She also has such a great voice for narrating.
The guests are experts in their field and Jane does a great job at eliciting interesting and helpful perspectives from them.
I especially liked the episode “Raising happy pigs from a Cowboy’s perspective - Neil Dudley”. In the world where we are getting further and further from the sources of our food, it’s important to know the why and how behind the food industry and alternative ways to do things.
This podcast will 👉MAKE YOU THINK! Make you laugh, and make you healthier. Give it a listen!

Hope!!

Jane is bringing forward information that we can use to make a real impact. I just listened to the Adam Lamb episode and it was really eye-opening. But the podcast isn’t just education and facts. Jane and her guests are fun to listen to and share stories that give real life to the issues at hand. Listening to this will encourage a hope in you—we CAN do something about food sustainability!

A much needed look at food!

Just finished listening to the first episode of Farm to Future and I am super excited about the new direction of this podcast. As someone who is looking for ways to eat better and more sustainably, I am naturally pre-disposed towards such content. And I already learned so much from just one episode. However, Jane is also a fabulous host. She is clearly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and masterfully guides the discussion with her guests from one topic to the next, keeping you engaged and entertained. As an added bonus, she has such a pleasant voice to listen to! I will be a loyal listener.
