Inside the Lawyers Studio presented by McCormick & Priore, PC

McCormick & Priore, PC

We are indebted to one of our heroes, James Lipton, and those who created and produced inside the Actors Studio for inspiring us to do this. Their idea was to cease being actors long enough to become teachers of their craft and imitation, which I think is the greatest form of flattery. We have the same idea, just different professions. We think it's especially timely now. In the old days, before we became lawyers, we were apprentices first. We had to follow a lawyer, and watch what the lawyer did, and said, to learn the craft. That's not really possible anymore in today’s world, so we thought we would use our opportunity with this podcast to do our best to give the same opportunity to other people to see and hear lawyers personally, but virtually, discuss various topics about appeals, coverage issues, and civil litigation. McCormick & Priore, P.C. is a defense litigation firm known for going beyond expectations – something we call “outperformance.” PA | NJ | DE | NY https://mccormickpriore.com/ https://www.instagram.com/mccormickpriore/ You can reach the host, Scott J. Season 2, Ep. 2: Deny, Delay, and Defend: Inside New Jersey's Bad Faith Claims

In this episode, host Scott Tredwell welcomes Jeff Stanton, Michael Ellery, Robert Cahall, and Igor Konstankevich for an in-depth discussion on bad faith insurance claims and how they are handled in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The conversation explores the evolving landscape of insurance litigation, particularly in light of New Jersey’s recently enacted bad faith statute, which has sparked debate on its implications for policyholders and insurers alike. We also talked about how insurance companies evaluate claims, the role of adjusters, and the legal strategies used by both plaintiffs and defense attorneys.
