When My Strength Runs Out, Christ Remains | His Grace Is Sufficient

Maybe you’ve prayed about it. Tried fixing it. Worked through it. But eventually, your strength runs out. In this Season 4 finale of Kingdom Kickback, we close out the series “Who’s Strengthening My Hand in God?” by going straight to 2 Corinthians 12:7–10, where Paul shows us something the world often gets backwards: weakness isn’t necessarily the place where God has abandoned us—it can be the very place where Christ’s power is revealed. Paul pleaded with God three times to remove his thorn, but God’s answer was: “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV We’ll look at Paul’s thorn, his humility concerning the revelations he received, and why he could actually boast in his weaknesses—not because weakness is good in itself, but because Christ’s power rests upon him. We’ll also connect this to Proverbs 24:16, the righteousness that comes through Christ in 2 Corinthians 5:21, and Jesus’ words in John 15:5: apart from Him, we can do nothing. This has become personal for me as I’ve watched my mother face dementia. There are moments when I feel helpless—moments when I simply cannot fix what’s happening. But God has been teaching me that I don’t have to manufacture strength I don’t have. God’s grace is sufficient. His Word strengthens us. His people strengthen us. And ultimately, Christ is our strength. So as we close this series, I want to leave you with one question: Whose hand are you strengthening—and who is strengthening your hand in God? Not in FPM.  Not in Anthony.  Not in ourselves. In Christ. Christ alone. Because when our strength runs out, His never does. 📖 2 Corinthians 12:7–10 | Proverbs 24:16 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 | John 15:5
