inSIGHT w/ Fortune: Centrific & Jasmine Seuling - “Not being all white straight people”, Even Furthur, The Great Beyond, Protest

Minneapolis has delivered several artists to the techno world, but back home in the city, Centrific is regarded as one of the godfathers. DJing throughout the Midwest for nearly two decades, he's also been throwing some of Minneapolis’ best parties with various collaborators, under the name Intellephunk, for 15+ years. And he is just as likely to be seen upfront dancing in front of the speakers, as he is behind the decks. Jasmine Seuling has taken on the role of being more than just “Centrific’s Wife”. She has been his partner in life for the past 18 years, helping out backstage and with several aspects of Intellephunk events during that time. Jasmine officially became a partner in 2018, and recently moved into a more active role within Intellephunk.

inSIGHT w/ Fortune: Hiroko Yamamura - Combatting Asian Violence, Drum n Bass, Paying for Critiques

inSIGHT: Conversations that Matter with People who Inspire Classic Chicago ride or die style DJ/producer influenced by The Warehouse, technology, and straight up techno, it’s no wonder she has been named one of Chicago’s top 10 DJ’s by XLR8R magazine. Currently calling labels such as Trax Records, Impact Mechanics, Slap Jaxx and Klectik as home, her previous projects under the Bio-Booster moniker and as a member of Monologic have not ceased, however they have taken a back seat to a more focused techno vision. As a midwest rave staple, Hiroko has toured the globe spreading the sounds of Chicago including gigs at the famed Detroit Movement Festival as well as regular Berlin and Ibiza shows.

inSIGHT: Conversations that Matter with People who Inspire Lady D's name is synonymous with Chicago house music culture. She has toured Europe, Asia, Russia and North America, played festivals from SXSW to Lollapalooza, and has owned and run record labels. She's featured in several documentaries and books, is a published writer on major media outlets and has appeared on radio including NPR and BBC.
