You'll hear specifically how digital transformation impacts mission delivery, how private industry can be a better neighbor to nonprofit, and why innovation isn't always the answer.   Later, Helen establishes diversity as practically necessary for collective business intelligence, explores the neurobiological data supporting gender diversity in tech, and makes a fascinating case for the ways in which diversity gaps actually map directly onto technology gaps.  And finally, Helen shares several key observations and top-of-mind concerns regarding data governance, leadership, and the current ecosystem.  Helen Knight is a visionary strategist leading award-winning technology transformations at non-profits across Canada, providing strategic IT consulting and also speaking on IT transformation, diversity and inclusion.  Helen runs the nonprofit support hub TechforSocialGood.ca, is a Governing Board Member of the not-for-profit technical agency Cybera Inc., and also serves as (the first female) President of the CIO Association of Canada’s Calgary chapter.
