What is ATG? What It Can Do For Your Body—Why It's The Missing Link In Fitness

Send us a text Five years ago, I could barely bend my right knee. Decades after reconstructive surgery as a high school gymnast, I lived with swelling, pain, and back instability every time I tried heavy squats. I thought that was just the price of getting older. Then I stumbled onto a training method called ATG (Athletic Truth Group) and it changed everything. Today, at 52, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, my back pain is gone, and my knee moves almost through its full range again.  And the best part my clients are seeing incredible results from this method of training too! Maybe you’ve seen it online, or maybe you’ve heard people talking about knees-over-toes training and wondered what it's all about. ATG was founded by Ben Patrick (famously known as “Knees Over Toes Guy”) and is highly recommended by trainers and physical therapists. Well, today I’m going to break it down for you—not just what ATG is, but why this method has completely changed the way I train, and how it’s been a missing link in fitness for so long. In this episode, I share: What ATG really is and how it worksWhy it challenges decades of outdated fitness advice & researchThe key principles behind this full-range strength methodHow it bridges the gap between rehab and elite sports performanceWhy it’s never too late to build pain-free strength and mobility - the key to longevity and aging well.Whether you’re an athlete, recovering from injury, or simply want to move without pain, this conversation will give you a whole new way to think about fitness. Want to get stronger, move pain-free, and finally feel amazing in your body? Your Body Craves Light: Healing With Sunlight, Circadian Rhythm & Your Inner Light

Send us a text In this episode, I revisit one of the most powerful concepts from my book Finally Thriving — that your body craves light. But today, we’re going much deeper. You’ll learn why light isn’t just a physical input — it’s an energetic and spiritual force that regulates your biology, mood, metabolism, and even your ability to heal. We explore how our modern lifestyle disrupts natural light exposure and how reconnecting with the sun can reset your circadian rhythm and supercharge your mitochondria. I also share insights inspired by the work of Dr. Jack Kruse, who teaches that light is the most important nutrient for mitochondrial health — even more powerful than food. And finally, we’ll talk about how you can cultivate light from within — through breath, meditation, intention, and connection to Source. If you’ve been doing “everything right” but still feel off… this might be the missing piece. ✨ In this episode, you’ll discover: Why your circadian biology depends on natural lightHow mitochondria store and emit bio-photonic lightWhy sunrise and sunset are crucial times to reset your bodyWhat Dr. Jack Kruse says about sunlight as a quantum health toolHow to bring in light through meditation and spiritual practiceTips to reconnect with nature, rhythm, and your inner radiance📌 Mentioned in this episode: Finally Thriving Community – Join hereFinally Thriving book Dr. Jack Kruse: jackkruse.com🎧 Tune in, step into the light, and start thriving — from the inside out.
