    Kelly Buesgens: Hearing God Through Prayer

    After walking through the pain of divorce, Kelly found herself with nowhere else to turn but to God. In that place of brokenness, prayer became more than words—it became all she had. This began a journey into God’s presence, found healing, and began learning to recognize His voice. As her faith grew, God led her to make difficult decisions, including ending a long-term relationship that developed after the divorce. Choosing obedience wasn’t easy, but Kelly discovered that following Christ is always worth the cost. She was prepared to remain single if that was God’s plan, but the Lord had something different in store. On a missions trip, she met the man who would become her husband, and together they have built a Christ-centered marriage. Today, Kelly Buesgens serves as Mosaic’s Prayer Coordinator, helping others seek God with confidence. She shares stories of answered prayer, miracles, and what it’s like to walk with the Holy Spirit in everyday life.     Growing up in a home marked by instability and addiction, Lisa Hendricks longed for something different. She watched her father encounter Christ when she was fourteen, but for years she believed she could build the life she wanted through hard work, determination, and success. Driven and capable, Lisa eventually started a charter school and poured herself into making it succeed. But the pressure became overwhelming. The stress led to physical illness, depression, and a breaking point she never expected. In that season, Lisa discovered something life-changing: everything she had been searching for—peace, belonging, and the family she always dreamed of—could only be found in Christ. In this episode of Into the Deep, Lisa shares her powerful testimony of surrender, healing, faith, and how God led her from striving to resting in Him. He talks about how God drew him back just before the tragic death of his best friend and cousin in a car accident, and how that loss shaped his faith. Tyler also reflects on navigating grief, finding hope in Christ, and learning to build his life around consistent time with the Lord. It’s an honest conversation about hardship, growth, and God’s faithfulness through every season Tyler also has stated that you don’t need drug, alcohol, or addictive medication to thrive but still recommends if you are suffering from depression or other mental health and illnesses to still seek medical treatment and follow providers recommendations.
