Into the Fire: Powered by Dream City Church

Dream City Church

In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stood for truth in a culture, and against a government that was hostile to their values. They were willing to go into the fire if necessary.  God didn't spare them the FROM the furnace but He was with them IN the fire. In today's culture, standing for truth may be challenging. The world around us is hostile to the Word of God and to biblical values. But we are called to be salt and light. (Matthew 5: 13-16) God has placed us at this time in history on purpose and for a purpose.  Join us as we get better equipped to address civics and culture from a biblical worldview.

    Campus Missionaries w/ Megan Kronstedt

This week, Debi is joined by Megan Kronstedt, Youth Alive Missionary for the Arizona Assemblies of God Megan shares her story of being called to missions during a Fine Arts youth service and how that led her to Youth Alive.   Megan explains the four core areas of Youth Alive and how they help equip students to share the gospel at their schools.  This can be done through one-on-one evangelism, group huddles, school clubs, prayer, and outreach projects.   Megan and Debi talked about the pushback that students and clubs can get from those who don't want to see the gospel shared on campus. Megan talks about the importance of Youth Alive training, the Assemblies of God position papers and being connected to a local youth pastor. All of these can help students walk through difficult times and difficult issues as they become missionaries to their peers.  To learn more about Youth Alive, visit the following websites https://www.azyouthalive.com/ agyouth.org/youth-alive To Sign up as a Youth Alive campus missionary visit https://arizona-youth-alive-520454.churchcenter.com/people/forms/1176966 To view the Assemblies of God position papers on cultural and biblical issues go to https://ag.org/Beliefs/Position-Papers To support Megan as a US missionary, visit https://giving.ag.org/donate/700001-289468 To sign up to pray for your local school visit Arizona Prayer Zone Partners To Find out more about Dream City Church visit  https://dreamcitychrch.us Please follow Into the Fire podcast on your favorite podcast platform, give us a 5-star rating and leave a review

Parents Know Best w/ Erin Rathier

This week, Debi is joined by Erin Rathier, founder and director of Ignite Homeschool Ministries. Debi and Erin discuss the many school choice options that families in Arizona currently have. Children's needs and the needs of individual families are not one size fits all, so school options should reflect those needs. Debi and Erin discuss their own paths with homeschooling children and helping other homeschool families to thrive. ESA has been an important part of opening opportunities for families to homeschool or to choose private school. They discuss how public school and private or homeschool should not be competing with each other. The goal of all involved should be what is best for children. They discuss the ballot initiative that is currently being circulated and how detrimental this would be to Arizona families if it were to get on the ballot and be passed into law. #DeclineToSign all ballot initiatives related to education. Finally they talk about Ignite, where both Erin and Debi work and how needs are being met for homeschool families.
