“Breaching the Chaos of the Church” is the phrase we use regarding the Body of Christ to acknowledge that there is both a problem - a gargantuan one - and a stunningly blessed Hope. If you’re fed up, sick and tired of “church” and “christian spirituality” - and we expect you are - and if you’re also gagging for the Coming King - and we hope you are - this podcast will be a timely prescription for you. All the Prophets: Isaiah (feat. Gwil & Beth Davey)

    Hello!

Welcome to Into the Pray and thank you for listening. (Don’t miss an extended YouTube conversation between Nick and Steve Buckley on Boxing Day here).

This is the final episode of Into the Pray for 2021 and we couldn't be joined by better people!

Please stay tuned to the end of this podcast where Gwil performs an impromptu acoustic version of his new song, Like Jehovah.

Gwil & Beth Davey are involved in the leadership of New Hope Christian Centre in Norwich, England. You can watch this podcast here.

Gwil is a gifted worship leader and singer/song-writer (please see his Spotify artist link here) and has a new single out, entitled Like Jehovah, in January. Here's a the pre-save link for that new song!

Beth is also involved in leading an exciting and pioneering work with children for the surrounding Norwich vicinity. Please take some time to read Beth's blog here.

It is a fitting end for this final episode in our "All the Prophets" season to be one in which ‘beholding worship’ has its place: when all is said and done, there is no-one like you, Jehovah.

Thank you to Gwil and Beth for joining us and sharing so honestly.

Why I Love (but disagree with) Christian Concern (feat. Nick Franks)

    Dear All,

It was lovely to connect with one of our supporters, Peter, yesterday via zoom and spend an hour or so chatting together.

If you would like to join our small group of  supporters, please see here and/or here.

You can also watch the video of this podcast here.

Today’s podcast is as a pause in our City of Temples series as we go into the Christmas holidays.

Instead, what you're about to hear is the audio of a YouTube video premiering this evening at 7:30pm GMT.

    Related Oswald Chambers devotional here.

"Why I Love (but disagree with) Christian Concern" is a heartfelt expression of standing with the leadership of CC (and other fine para-church organisations ) but also, in so doing, an honest expression of what I believe to be true - and not true - pertaining to the voice of the coming Lord Jesus to our sleepy, arrogant, calloused, unfaithful church and nation.

Should the Church be calling the government to account for closing the churches? Should UK church leaders be revelling in this?

Via a brief examination of CC's new magazine released this week, I can only conclude not.

With the aggressive and ramping evil that we will all be aware of to some degree, this is my best effort to explain what I believe to be the major disconnect that currently renders the Church both sitting duck and laughing stock.

All the Prophets: Jeremiah (feat. Josh Fortune)

All the Prophets: Jeremiah (feat. Josh Fortune)

Hello and welcome to Into the Pray. Thank you for listening in.

Nick is joined this morning by Josh Fortune, a church pastor and very talented film-maker and animator serving in Woolwich, London.

It has been a joy to meet with Josh in recent months as he brings a rare sense of honesty and transparency regarding both the church at large and his own leadership within that.

Please sit back and be refreshed by Josh's openness and honesty fuelled by a desire to know the power of God working in our churches!

1 Corinthians (part 45): Eternity Now?

1 Corinthians (part 45): Eternity Now?

    Hello!

Thank you for joining us in our teaching sessions through 1 Corinthians.

Please consider sharing this podcast to your networks for us. Here is a preview of this evening’s vlog.

Today we finish chapter 13 by focusing on vv8-13.

"Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is." (1 John 3:2)

Here are the helpful AMPC definitions for you:

Faith: Conviction & faith respecting man’s relation to God & divine things.
Hope: Joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation.
Love: True affection for God & man, growing out of God’s love for us and in us.
And the blog article r.e. the inability of Jannes and Jambres to create gnats is here.
The vlog session later today (featuring the thoughts of other quality church leaders) is focusing on the 1993 Waco disaster in Texas, USA.

Why is David Koresh's "messianic" cult relevant to the disruption of the Holy Spirit today?

You can subscribe view these vlogs here.

All the Prophets: Amos (feat. Ant Franks)

All the Prophets: Amos (feat. Ant Franks)

    Hello!

Welcome to the Into the Pray podcast and thank you for joining.

Our Friday focus on 'All the Prophets' continues today with the help of our Dad, Ant Franks!

Many thanks to you again, Dad, for faithfully preparing as you always do.

You can also watch this podcast via YouTube here.

One of the thoughts that stayed with us having listened back again was the thought of Amos being taken by the LORD from his context and commanded prophetically into something new.

How are we open to this convicting/compelling/correcting work of the Spirit today?

But the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’ (Amos:15)

I have learned so much!

If you want teaching on getting to know Jesus better listen to this podcast.

Thank you!

Thanks Nick & Mairi, your podcast has been really helpful to me in the past year. I have found the episodes re: abortion especially eye opening. I have always had a pro-life view, but my eyes have been opened to the evil behind abortion, how scientists/doctors/clinics are profiting from it and perpetuating it and how other parts of medical practice that’s never considered, are using abortion. I’ve also been challenged & encouraged to passionately pursue Gods Word, accurately understanding & rightly applying it to my life, as we wait & prepare with great anticipation for Christ’s return.

WORDS

Nick & Mari - thank you so much for your journey. Your podcasts are helping birth words for what is burning in my bones. I am living in the tension of seeing a small amount of sisters & brothers not wanting to return to SLEEP/ANESTHETIZED and those who are well meaning in grasping on for what was for fear there will be nothing without it. May the Lord Himself clear the stage & that we will find that He truly dwells in us - and that He Himself is guiding our hearts. Though none go with Him I still will follow. Praying He draws those who need Him to join this current move of Him.

Maranatha!
