“Breaching the Chaos of the Church” is the phrase we use regarding the Body of Christ to acknowledge that there is both a problem - a gargantuan one - and a stunningly blessed Hope. If you’re fed up, sick and tired of “church” and “christian spirituality” - and we expect you are - and if you’re also gagging for the Coming King - and we hope you are - this podcast will be a timely prescription for you. Why Have We Stopped Eating McDonald's & Shopping w/ Amazon? (feat. Nick & Mairi)

Why Have We Stopped Eating McDonald's & Shopping w/ Amazon? (feat. Nick & Mairi)

    Greetings All!

[Apologies that the sound isn't as good as we would like it to be while we're trying to make the most of our current set-up].

Nick recently had a significant conversation with a dairy farmer, Edward, while he milked his cows. Edward opened up about the inordinate pressures that he and his family are being put under by the godless government of the land which now means that a bottle of water is more expensive (of more worth) than a bottle of milk. But what does this have to do with eating at McDonald's and shopping with Amazon?

In today's episode of Into the Pray  we explain why we've recently stopped eating McDonald's and shopping with Amazon.

    What are ultra-processed foods (UPFs)?
Is Amazon's customer service really as good as we're all led to believe that it is?
    Is McDonald's OK to eat?

Back in the spring of this I year, I published the seminal work, "The Glorious Few: Redeeming Radicalisation in the Kingdom of God." In the period of 2 weeks following publishing, several major things happened all at once that could have happened at any point in the previous 9 years. The disruption of the Lord culminated in Mairi resigning from her role as a Teacher of French in a large secondary school in Edinburgh and was a disruption that I wrote about prophetically in the book's epilogue. This episode of the Into the Pray podcast is Mairi's testimony and, as the final podcast in our home where the podcast began, please let me encourage you to listen with a prayerful heart. In today's episode of Into the Pray,  Mairi and Nick provide a follow-on from this YouTube a few days ago that probes the general response of church pastors to the prospect of radical change. Please leave your comments on the YouTube video

Podcast title music can be listened to here.

In short, what are the dynamics that cause the disconnect between good, godly men whose doctrine is sound...and the radical change that is urgently required?

After an intro responding critically to a T.A-Sparks devotional, Mairi and Nick go through a list of thoughts that is just the starting point of this urgent conversation....

Entering the Realm of Conflict & Cost | A Personal Testimony [PART 2/2] (feat. Nick Franks)

    Greetings All!

In today's episode of Into the Pray, I provide a follow-on from my personal testimony shared on YouTube last week. You can watch that here.  In short, what happens when "domesticated" civilian leaders encounter shell-shocked prophetic soldiers?

At the end of the episode I offer some advice to both
    1) Shivering, shell-shocked prophets &
    2) Civilian pastoral leaders

    My university pastiche is here.
The other book I mention is here.
T.A-Sparks video re the demonic idolatry in the Church is here.

Leaving Home & City | LIVE from Costa Coffee (feat. Nick & Mairi) ☕️🎙

    Greetings All!

Firstly, would you consider supporting our full-time ministry as we head into another increasingly "radicalised" year of service for the soon-to-come Lord Jesus? Neither of us now have salaries and the work we are doing in the background to produce all that we do is significant. You can support us here. Thank you!

In today's episode of Into the Pray, we sit down in Costa Coffee with a microphone to have a prayerful conversation 4+ months on having "left home and city" as a result of the stand we're taking concerning the chaos of the Church. We've tried to be honest, gracious and encouraging with a very niche audience mainly in mind. We hope that the public ambience isn't distracting from what we share.

By providing something akin to a general update/catch-up, we talk about:

    — Life since leaving home and city
    — Reading the Bible twice in 4 months
    — Three key verses of Scripture: Ezekiel 12:4; Hebrews 10:34; 1 Thessalonians 5:14.
    — Prophetic encouragement and challenge, especially for those experiencing the inner discomfort (and even turmoil) as to if/how you are to separate yourself from all forms and communities of spiritual compromise.
    — Brief feature of a rather forthright naysayer called Rosemary.

What Should Happen When Christian Leaders Fall? | Bible Study

What Should Happen When Christian Leaders Fall? | Bible Study

    Dear All
Thank you for listening to Into the Pray — our little offering of sanity amidst the ramping chaos of the Church and the anti-Christ world.

Wasn't Ravi Enough? is the title of one of the chapters in my latest book that you can see here. The question as to whether or not the scale and shock of the RZIM scandal was sufficient to rouse the Church from comatose is rhetorical; of course it wasn't. Neither was COVID-19, church closures and the emergence of totalitarian governments. Nevertheless, if we are going to take Jesus' return seriously, the question remains: what should happen when Christian leaders fall?

Thank you!

Thanks Nick & Mairi, your podcast has been really helpful to me in the past year. I have found the episodes re: abortion especially eye opening. I have always had a pro-life view, but my eyes have been opened to the evil behind abortion, how scientists/doctors/clinics are profiting from it and perpetuating it and how other parts of medical practice that’s never considered, are using abortion. I’ve also been challenged & encouraged to passionately pursue Gods Word, accurately understanding & rightly applying it to my life, as we wait & prepare with great anticipation for Christ’s return.
