Write Like Yourself Online (Not Like an Extrovert) with Kristen Westcott

One of the biggest lies introverts are told online is that we have to be louder, faster, or more performative to be successful. In this episode of Introverts’ Toolbox, I sit down with business growth strategist and copywriter Kristen Westcott to talk about what actually works for introverts in the online space, especially when it comes to copy, sales, and showing up authentically. Kristen shares how she transitioned from running the back end of businesses as a Director of Operations to helping entrepreneurs find their true voice through aligned copy. We unpack why copy-paste templates hurt trust, how perfectionism and certification chasing keep introverts stuck, and why your values matter more than trends when it comes to conversion. In this conversation, we explore: Why introverts don’t need to go viral to build a successful business How copying extroverted marketing styles drains energy and trust What personality-driven copy actually looks like Why templates and swipe files often lower conversions How values shape voice, messaging, and client relationships Why “one more certification” is often fear, not readiness How introverts can sell without feeling pushy or inauthentic If you’ve ever felt exhausted trying to show up online, struggled to sound like yourself in your content, or delayed taking action because you weren’t “ready yet,” this episode will help you rethink how you write, market, and connect as an introvert.

Boundaries, Humanity and Healing with Nick Bognar

In today’s episode, I am bringing you a conversation that so many introverts have been craving but rarely talk about honestly. We always dive deep into business and strategy here, but this time we are talking about the life stuff. The energy drains, the people pleasing, the boundary setting and the moments where we forget that we are human. I am joined by Nick Bognar, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from Pasadena who also teaches other therapists how to build their practices online. Nick came ready with real tools that you can start using today so maybe you do not need an emergency therapy session this week. We unpack what boundaries actually mean, why “no” is not the whole story, and how boundaries can be loving, kind and a gift to the people around you. Nick shares how to prevent resentment from building, how to shift out of people pleasing and how authenticity makes relationships stronger, not harder. We also talk about humanity. The messy moments, the blanking out, the bloopers and how showing your real self creates deeper and healthier connection. If you have ever said yes when you did not want to, avoided conflict or struggled to protect your own energy, this episode will bring clarity and comfort. The more I know what helps you, the more tools I can bring to your Introvert’s Toolbox. You are perfect the way you are and I am proud of you for doing this work.
