Her story telling is lyrical, poetic and beautiful juxtaposed against a content that is sickeningly haunting. While some of this story is public knowledge, much of it is not. This may be the most unique true crime podcast - and in fact, the most compelling true crime story - I’ve ever heard. I’m not from the community where these crimes unfolded, so it’s my first time hearing about them. But hearing them from the eldest daughter, who was implicated in and deeply affected by her fathers crimes, is such a gripping perspective. Even is a masterful poet… her use of words and language is just as powerful as the plot of the story itself. It’s as cathartic for me to listen to as I imagine it might be for her to share this story with us. I’ve been listening as season 2 is unfolding and can’t wait to hear the next episode.

This is one of my favorite podcasts! I’ve known Christine for years and hearing her share her story—a memoir of her life—in such a beautiful and journalistic way is unique and incredible. A definite must-listen!
