Season 1 Episode 12 "Love found me when I stopped looking"

deb@inwardboundshow.com  Love Found Me When I Stopped Looking  After years of heartache, divorce, single motherhood, and learning who I really was, I wasn't searching for another relationship. I was simply living my life one day at a time. Then something unexpected happened. A night of playing pool introduced me to the man who would become my husband. What began as a simple meeting grew into a relationship built on honesty, respect, and a promise we made to each other from the very beginning: "Don't do anything you wouldn't want me to do." It wasn't a fairy tale. We were two people with histories, children, and life experiences that would require patience, grace, and commitment. But for the first time, I experienced a relationship where friendship came before everything else. In this episode, I share how love entered my life when I had finally begun finding peace within myself—and why healing yourself first changes the kind of love you're able to receive.  Coach Deb's Reflection Sometimes we spend so much time chasing love that we miss the lesson. Love isn't something you force. It's something you're finally able to recognize when you've learned to value yourself. The healthiest relationships aren't built by two people trying to complete each other. They're built by two whole people choosing to walk through life together. Invitation If you're wondering whether healthy love is possible after heartbreak, I want you to know it is. Healing changes what you accept, what you expect, and what you believe you deserve. If you're ready to begin that journey, I'd love to walk alongside you through Empower Inward Coaching. Sometimes the greatest love story begins the moment you stop searching—and start becoming yourself.   Don't forget to post your questions and stories on our reddit! r/InwardBoundShow

Season 1 Episode 11 “The Child I Thought Would Never Come”

deb@inwardboundshow.com For five long years, I waited. Month after month, hope would rise and then quietly fade. Each passing year brought more questions, more uncertainty, and more wondering if motherhood was ever going to be part of my story. There were moments when I tried to stay positive and moments when I feared it simply wasn’t meant to be. Then something unexpected happened. After years of waiting, praying, hoping, and wondering, I finally became pregnant. In this episode, I share the emotional journey of infertility, the heartbreak of unanswered questions, and the overwhelming joy that came with discovering I was finally going to have a baby. This isn’t just a story about pregnancy. It’s a story about faith, perseverance, and learning that life doesn’t always arrive on our timeline. Sometimes the things we desire most take the longest to appear. Sometimes the waiting season teaches us lessons we could not have learned any other way. And sometimes, just when we’ve begun to release our grip on how things should happen, life surprises us in ways we never imagined. Join me as I reflect on the years of waiting, the moment everything changed, and how the birth of my son became one of the most significant turning points in my life. If you’ve ever waited for something with all your heart, this episode is for you. Empower Inward Coaching Invitation As I share these chapters of my life, my hope has never been simply to tell you my story. My hope has always been that somewhere in these experiences, you recognize a part of yourself. Maybe you see a struggle you’ve faced.  Maybe you recognize a pattern you’ve been carrying.  Maybe you hear something that helps you understand your own journey a little more clearly. For much of my life, I believed healing would come from changing the circumstances around me. What I eventually discovered was that lasting change began when I turned inward and became aware of the stories, beliefs, and patterns that were shaping my life. That journey changed everything. If these episodes are stirring something within you, if you’re feeling called to better understand yourself, your experiences, your relationships, or the patterns that continue to show up in your life, know that you do not have to walk that path alone. http://empowerinward.com/.
