IRL Talk

I just found this duo again and they're saying it's over. Dang it!

I've listened to every episode and they've never mentioned Ireland once! It's not about Girl Talk either, although they might have mentioned it a few times. It is, however, a delightful weekly conversation between two geeky friends about many interesting topics and current news. The show is published on Fridays and I always look forward to geeking out with them on my commute home. I call it my “Geek Friday” show.

▶️Well I have been listening to this podcast for a couple of years now and↩️ I have to tell you that I have really been enjoying it. If I had to↩️ guess I would say that Jason and Faith used to date, but after listening↩️ it is obvious that they haven't. If they did ever decide to date, it↩️ would probably be a huge disaster. But I digress. It used to↩️ be that I listened to this podcast, when it was Geek Friday to spend a↩️ nice Saturday afternoon catching up on the latest happenings but↩️ if you asked me now, however, I simply tune in every week so that↩️ I can catch up on the lives of Faith and Jason. Sometimes I wish I↩️ could see the video of stream when they record the shows as they↩️ touch on the facial expressions Jason makes occasionally. If↩️ your commute is boring, this will liven it up. Usually, the main↩️ body of the episode is about "tech news" but they also do things↩️ I find funny, like have guests such as Casey Liss. I don't↩️ know how they manage to keep going after so many years, but I am↩️ not going to look this gift horse in the mouth. I realize IRL is not for↩️ everybody but if you like to hang out with other nerds then this show↩️ has something for you. I often learn about things that↩️ got missed when I was reading the internet that week or sometimes↩️ a tidbit is put in a perspective I had not considered, like that↩️ body lying on the tracks in Stand By Me. Actually, this show is↩️ like a warm rain on a cold November morning. If that makes no sense,↩️ you haven't been looking on the left side long enough.◀️
