A New Era of Ironically Serious

A New Era of Ironically Serious

You know I always keep things real, so I need to apologize for my (unexpected) month-long hiatus from the podcast. The good news? I'm not going anywhere. In this solo dolo eppy, I share where I've been these past 4 weeks and why you haven't heard from me. Spoiler: it's not as dramatic as you think. I just needed a moment of clarity, ok? I get honest and real about my vision for this brand and what you can expect in this new era of Ironically Serious.  And since you haven't heard from my unhinged self in a while, I give a little life update on life without alcohol, personality trait overhauls, and where my head has been lately with realigning my life.

    Basically, I missed you 3

From Catholic School to Tinder Queen ft. Eva Couto

From Catholic School to Tinder Queen ft. Eva Couto

I'm joined by Eva Couto for an episode with some seriously honest girl talk (and I'm living for it). Eva is a Brand Designer & Strategist who helps badass businesses stand out with bold, strategic & 100% unique branding. She's born, raised, and based in Porto, Portugal–we dive into her upbringing in Portugal and what life was like in a catholic private school. Eva shares how she grew up with security but her mental health was eventually rocked after an abusive experience with her college boyfriend. While discovering herself after her breakup, Eva becomes the Tinder queen!!! In true TayTay fashion, we do a Tinder Q&A. I won't spoil it but it includes her worst Tinder date, steamy tent sex, and craziest public hookup. Eva's down-to-earth, no-filter outlook on life will have you saying, "GIRL, SAME."

Slow clap for Dry January. I can't believe I did it! If you've been following along, you know how important this commitment was for me–so I break down my experience with Dry January in this episode. I get honest about my relationship with alcohol and why I wanted to explore sobriety. I share some of the wild revelations, physical and mental manifestations, and overall clarity I've received from giving up alcohol for 35 days. Other than the physical benefits (which we all know about), I share some of the mental, emotional, and relationship-level transformations I've experienced and how it has majorly impacted every arena of my life.

If you are currently exploring options of sobriety or want to discipline yourself with a challenging detox of sorts, this episode will give you the encouragement to GO for it!!

If you are currently experiencing problems with alcohol addiction, you are NOT alone and there are solutions. Click here to visit the registered AA website for resources and to connect with a chapter near you. There's no shame in getting help, sis.

Digital Nomad Life, Bali & Subconscious Healing ft. Diana Jakubcova

Today I’m chatting with Diana Jakubcova – the founder of Deeply Rooted Studio, a branding and consultancy firm that serves female founders worldwide. Diana left her home in Slovakia at 17 and has lived a digital nomad life ever since. She shares about her time living in Bali, which leads us down a rabbit hole of subconscious healing, spirituality, and Diana's experience with hypnotherapy. We explore how self-awareness and understanding of patterns/behaviors can affect our businesses!

Pitching Your Genius & Prioritizing Yourself

Pitching Your Genius & Prioritizing Yourself

I'm back girlies for another big-sis pep talk!! I start the episode with some applicable tips for pitching yourself and mindset shifts to gain confidence in speaking your name in a room full of opportunity. I give you the push you need to put yourself out there and go for your big dreams. Switching gears, I open up about a recent dialogue I've been having about prioritizing yourself first. It's easy to put ourselves last, but I share the importance of serving your mental and physical health so you can love others deeper and be the best version of yourself. Sorry in advance for royally cursing you by bringing up the topic of rat kings (literally the most disgusting thing in the world). I share some of the small, personal changes I've made in my daily life to build a better me and push you to do the same.
