41. From Med Student to Matched: General Surgery
In this episode, Isabella interviews Ben Potee, a fourth year medical student at UMass Chan Medical School. He applied and matched into a general surgery residency! His advice is great for everyone, regardless if you're interested in the surgical field or not! That being said, if you are, Ben offers advice that I haven't seen online or heard from people in the field. Trust me, you don't want to miss this one.

Coming to America Interview
I really enjoyed the recent episode featuring Madina. She has such valuable insights. I wish her (and really all of us) peace internally and externally.
Inclusive, diverse, vibrant.
IsaVision lives up to its goal to have honest conversations with real people in hopes for its audience to learn and relate. I can personally say that when I listen to an episode I know I’ll learn something I didn’t know before. It’s important to note that the host, Isabella, successfully creates an environment for her listeners of inclusivity, diversity, and vibrancy. She accepts the challenge, that many shy away from, of having hard conversations about current issues such as Immigration.
We can trust Isabella because she isn’t merely sharing her opinions. Additionally to her research, she consults those who have experience and can offer specific insight on such matters. We are grateful that when Isabella cannot personally relate, she provides interviewers who can. This includes people from all walks of life: professionals to entrepreneurs to regular people.
The real convos we need
From episode 1 I knew I was gonna love this podcast! I’m not a fan of them, so I’m glad that this one is changing my mind about them. Belle & Bella are just so real with you from the beginning and it makes it easier for people to connect with them. Mental health is a current issue and this podcast is bringing this issue to light in an encouraging, positive way! Can’t wait for more.
