Island Minds aims to help normalize the conversation we have around mental health. We are not here to give unqualified advice but to talk about our own experiences living with mental health. Each week presenters Hannah and Tia will reflect on topical news articles and key discussion points before welcoming a guest speaker. Each guest will talk about their personal experiences in the hope it will inspire others to talk openly about their own mental ill-health.

Fresh air
It’s such a comfort to hear them talk about mental health struggles with positivity and compassion. It makes everything feel a little more OK.
Their message of normalizing having mental health issues, acknowledging them, and talking about them, is a vital one.
And the podcast contains a lot of useful and life changing information that has given me insights into my own mental health journey and that of some other people in my lives. I think that more than anything, it’s really essential that we educate ourselves about mental health for the sake of our compassion for others, and this podcast helps you access that sort of empathy.
The hosts have great energy and their chemistry is fantastic.
Superb mental health pod!
Helpful and really well done!
A Must Listen
Hannah and Tia are taking on the difficult issues and tackling mental health stigmas head first. As someone with both anxiety and depression, I found their dialogue and discussion both relatable and informative. I'm looking forward to more from Island Minds!
