My name is Karen I have been a Registered Nurse for 21 years and have worked on medical and orthopedic wards and now i am working in theater as a instrument / scout nurse for operations. Nursing in todays post pandemic world is scary! Listen to my first day as a nurse the absolute disaster that it was. I debrief with my daughter who is also a nurse and some of the drama that engulfs all nurses at work. from nursing homes to the operating theater it's been an interesting career.

    My first day as a registered Nurse

    My first day as a registered Nurse i had my first death! I" Been traumatised ever since. This was 21 years ago and my daughter tells of her first day as a nurse and it was so different to mine!!
