Walking as a disciple of Jesus, and it’s a joy. Everyday, for all of life. Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope full you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” 2 Peter 1:3, “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence.”

    Dependence On God = Transformation In Us

    Today we reflect on utter dependence on Jesus in everything, only possible of the Holy Spirit applying the work that Jesus completed on the cross! Because once we grasp the cross was also a symbol of His wrath (God) on His perfect Son (Jesus) against OUR sins (that is, the elect), we realize total and entire dependence on Him is all we need - and apart from Him, our souls are tragically sick and broken. Jesus never expects perfection - but He promises transformation in us.
