    39 : Girl Chat - for parents of girls

    This one is for all of our parents who have girls; especially girls who are approaching the preteen era. As a teacher, I noticed how intimidating it can be to be a girl with a changing body and a unique development speed. It's honestly really stressful, and actually terrifying, for girls to navigate all of it, especially when they think they are doing it all on their own. I am here to walk you through our process on how I have talked to girls at school, church, and my own home about puberty, hygiene, and their body changes. This includes all of the things they find so strange and scary. Save this one for you friends who have girls and let's prepare them while letting them know it's all good!

People have often asked us questions about the foster care system and how it works to become a foster parent, but Dalton and I did not take the traditional route when going through adoption so we do not have all of the answers.
