He used events in working life as inspiration for a better way pf communicating, in all situations, even sharing how valuable an interaction with his daughter at Christmas time was, helping shape what he would teach his employees about human interaction.
He challenges the notion of the customer always being right and explains invaluable tools such as Impulsive Control and Impulse control, being activated vs being triggered and the importance of minding your tone.
In the spirit of Kevin's book', Big Brain Little Brain, we talk about more effective communication through simple and accessible methods you can use immediately in work and all social settings. We pick apart some of the twenty-one tools your Big Brain can tap into for better communication, as well as the fourteen avoidable traps that your Little Brain will constantly set for you.

Kellie Harriden - There is always a way
One resounding message form this episode is to never give up, there is always a way, and sometimes not the way you think!
This week on ‘It’s More Than Money’ Kye and Kelly talk with author, speaker and infertility advocate, Kellie Harriden. Kellie Harriden is an author, speaker and infertility advocate, along with being a mum to gorgeous twins.
After struggling with her own infertility for eight years and feeling very alone during this time, Kellie felt the need to share her story of hope in her first book, Long-Awaited Child. Kellie now feels inspired to help others who may be going through their own struggles. In 2019 she founded the Sunshine Coast Fertility Expo and has recently branched out to an online fertility gift store along with her latest project, Pineapple Boxes, which are fertility gift boxes to help those about to embark on their trying to conceive journey or are currently going through fertility treatments.
Kellie will tell you at the time of embarking on her own journey of a lifetime she was an ordinary 31 year old wanting to start a family. She did not know the hurdles she was going to overcome to beat the odds which seemed to be stacked against her, but her determination to not let anything stop her got her to her dream ending of being a mum.
Kellie's story is a story of hope, it's a story of resilience, and it's a story of being resourceful and not giving up.
Jamie Milne - Inch by Inch is a cinch, yard by yard is hard
This week on ‘It’s More Than Money’ Kye and Kelly talk with Jamie Milne. He’s a world record holder, amateur boxer, Sunshine Coast Trainer, ultra-marathon runner, gym owner and talk expert on the psychology of positivity.
As a young man, it was Jamie's own personal quest for relief from a debilitating relationship with alcohol and food that compelled him to seek professional help to relieve his burden.
Through his own process, Jamie personally found hypnosis to be the most powerful method of treatment, so his interest in the field was sparked, and he quickly sought the best teachers to learn more about hypnotherapy. This interest led Jamie to become an upcoming expert in the field.
Jamie has since been a part of many clients' journeys - anxiety, phobias, substance abuse including smoking, sexual dysfunction, undesirable spontaneous behaviors, bad habits, improving sleep, learning disorders, communication, and relationship problems.
Jamie knows that problems in our mindsets, irrespective of the experience, trauma or disorder, can be extremely debilitating, no matter how insignificant these problems may appear to others. One thing that Jamie offers in large quantities, however, is his own hard-won personal experience in breaking through barriers and taking control of the mindsets that limit our potential.

Mike Cameron - From Bagging Manure to an Awakened Existence
This week on ‘It’s More Than Money’ Kye and Kelly talk with speaker, author and performance coach, Mike Cameron.
Life can take away what you HAVE but it can never take away WHO you are so focus on BECOMING more not HAVING more. A great quote symbolising what Mike Cameron is about and what he can offer us all.
Former founder and CEO of Axiom Mortgage Partners and Author of ‘Becoming a Better Man’, Mike talks to Kelly and Kye openly and honestly about how he started his career literally bagging shit (steer manure) then climbing the corporate ladder. Mike candidly shares incomprehensible pains he's experienced throughout his life and methods (such as S.O.A.R) he has used and now teaches for overcoming adversity, no matter how big or small, because there is something to be taken away from every experience.
Mike explains the pivotal need to understand the underlying emotions that drive the decisions we make, if we don't, we have zero chance of living a fully awakened existence.
An insightful, valuable podcast that will encourage you to follow your dreams, treat others with kindness, and never give up on yourself.
