    John 3 - You Must Be Born Again with Daniel Moore - 48

Nicodemus shows up with status, influence, and Bible knowledge, and Jesus responds with a single, disruptive truth: you must be born again. That moment in John 3 is a mirror for anyone who has ever leaned on religious effort, church habits, or “being a good person” and still felt the ache that something is missing. We talk through why Nicodemus comes at night, what Jesus is really saying about new birth, and how the Holy Spirit brings an inward transformation that no amount of external performance can produce.  We also dig into the meaning of being born of water and the Spirit and why Jesus compares the Spirit’s work to the wind. Along the way, we get practical about spiritual growth and discipleship: prayer, time in God’s Word, worship, and real fellowship with believers who pursue Jesus.     John 1 - The Word Became Flesh with Katie Marsh - 46

    Send us Fan Mail John’s Gospel doesn’t start with a manger or a genealogy. It starts before time, with a bold claim: Jesus is the Word, Jesus is God, and Jesus is the One through whom everything was made. Around the table, we read John 1 out loud and let it challenge the “small” versions of Jesus we’re tempted to settle for, replacing them with a Savior who is Creator, Light in the darkness, and the clearest picture of the Father’s heart. We also slow down at the personal turning point in John 1: those who receive Jesus and believe in his name are given the right to become children of God. That isn’t just religious language to us, it’s an open door to salvation, adoption, and a new identity. We pray for listeners who don’t yet know Jesus to receive him, and we ask the Holy Spirit to make the Word feel real, near, and alive. Then we learn from John the Baptist, a model of humility and bold testimony.
